Do we ever rebuild? Certainly haven't done so in a long time. You could maybe say when we sold Bale but that didn't exactly work out so well. We used to change a lot of players each window but that was when we went through managers each season. Poch has built a foundation and although there may be cracks in that foundation it doesn't need to be knocked down completely. I agree with Mourinho, the nucleus is there but we need key positions fixing.

I guess it depends on what people consider a rebuild. Adding a few players is natural for all clubs. How many changes constitutes a rebuild?

We rebuilt after Bale left and then had to quickly rebuild that team too but with youth players.

So how is that any different to any other window? In that case every team is always rebuilding.

Until the manager is happy with the nucleus of the team and the team are nearing their potential I guess ?‍♀️

You could say it's the same as teams being in transition.

We struck it so lucky when Kane turned into a worldie. All the rebuilds in the world wasn’t t going to buy us a 30 goal a season striker. That’s why it is crazy to even consider letting him go. He saves us 100m in the transfer market.

People don't want to hear this but I think deep down we all know that a proper rebuild only happens without Harry. We won't invest enough without getting £100m+ first and he's our only really valuable, coveted asset. Levy has a massive decision to make soon.
Agree, if there is a proper rebuild I cannot see him waiting two years for us to get to a competitive level again.

We can't even get decent cover for Kane so I don't see why we would want to sell him and try replace him (and still get a 2nd). Certainly not with our record of signing centre forwards. The last great one we signed was Berbatov and that was 14 years ago.

I do think we'll find it hard to keep him next summer if we still haven't won anything though. Only then could I see us maybe sell him, possibly let Mourinho go and have a real shake up. So give this group one more season with a few additions added to it to see if they can get back on track.

What can he do when you don't have the players to give one of the best strikers in the world any service.

Sorry to say it but i think hes off and i wouldnt blame him after that shit show.

He's part of the problem, less so than others but its not like he's playing great and the others are letting him down.

He makes mistakes just like the others, he's misplacing simple passes like the others, his movement has got worse like the others.

IMO many centre backs in the league have no respect for him anymore, they mark him with confidence because they know his mobility has regressed big time and he's become more static.

He is not covering himself in glory either this season. He looks disinterested.

What are you expecting given the service? How many times did he get the ball in a dangerous place? We could have Ronaldo up their it wouldn't matter.

They don't even have to mark him a lot of the time because he seems to deliberately place himself in the small space between the two centre backs. All the defenders have to do is not move and Kane puts himself out of the attack.

I am one of Kane's biggest supporter... but if we don't know how to manage his slower style and flog him 90mins every match WITHOUT a decent backup striker for seasonS... i can safely say we have seen the best of Kane already
