From what I've seen of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg it seems this was the number 1 piece of the puzzle missing. I think he is in the style of Dier of years ago,and maybe even be more fluid. I'm not sure where Winks goes now as really he hasnt really developed anything special about his game in either defence or attack. Sissoko may get sold but I wouldnt sell him,he is a most reliable 12th man and can play many positions. The big question mark is NDombele as he us so talented as a passer, he didnt seem to be that interested in defence and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg may just be the ticket for him to create or not. Unless there is still a huge divide where Mourinho really has given up on him even saying the contrary, there doesn't make any sense to selling him right at the moment. Give him a season to give it a go.

Saying Winks hasn't developed is a bit unfair isn't it ? He is been grinding out as a number 6 all this time long. Once we get more solidity in that 6 spot with Højbjerg, we should give Winks a run as the 8, rather than gifting it straight to Ndombele.

Creative players occasionally do something creative and are not confined simply by their numbers or system. That's what makes them quality. Yes they have to adhere to the system but the really good ones go beyond the shell
And I'll add that Winks has show he has a good medium or long pass in his game but rarely uses it.
On the defensive side his is no heavyweight.
To his credit he is steady and consistent

I don't think Sissoko will be sold. His workrate and versatility makes him a valuable squad member. And he's just this past season signed a new contract.

Winks won't be sold unless we get our HG quota up elsewhere on the field. We are at our limit of non HG as it is.

Watching his first interview on the Spurs Instagram acc. He really does speak well. His attitude to football and life seems really admirable. Hopeful that he’s going to be a very positive influence on and off the pitch.

Welcome Big Hoiby!

We dont need to sell any of them. Assuming skip goes out on loan, peh, n’dombele, winks and Sissoko will be our 4 cms needed for the squad with glc and gedson available to fill in if we are plagued with injuries
