Jose Mourinho has bemoaned the "impossible" task his Tottenham side faced in defeat to Liverpool after making "so many individual mistakes". Spurs were beaten 3-1 by the champions at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to hit their hopes of qualifying for the Champions League, with the Reds four points clear in fourth, though Mourinho’s side have a game in hand.

I hope he's including his own mistakes on that list. Leaves our most senior CB on the bench and does the same with Vinicius and Bale when we need goals until it's too late (again). Subs Aurier off and leaves Doherty on (?).

Seems Aurier was hooked because there was a dressing room bust up and he left the stadium. Don't know how true this is, but seems plausible, as I was sure Docherty was the main candidate for being replaced and going to a back 4.

He probably singled out surge for their goal before half time and surge was having none of it *tin foil hat but possibly true*

Are the players playing for him. I’m seriously questioning this now. At the very least I don’t think they’re all in

And starting with a back 5, getting swamped in midfield and inviting pressure.
If I were him, I'd budget for 2 mistakes per game and plan accordingly. Don't base your game plan on zero errors.

I haven’t looked too hard, but there’s loads for the manager (rightly so) and at least half the team lack ability and desire- yes, we are a couple of quality players short of competing.

but no mistake it was fkin Lloris cost us the game with unacceptable mistakes either side of HT.

Up to then, bar the worry over Kane, the performance was the same as City at home, only Sons heel was caught offside this time
