Jose Mourinho has backed Hugo Lloris and said he believes the Frenchman is still one of the best goalkeepers in the world following criticism over his recent poor form.

We'll I'd expect him to say that, but even at his best that isn't true. He produces some magnificent saves, but he makes too many errors, NEVER leaves his box and his distribution is poor. I doubt anyone better than us would want him, but he'd also be hard to improve upon. It's a marriage of convenience at this stage.
