Where did he tend to play for Man U? (Aside from the bench jokers, lol).

My understanding is he is a right footer that prefers playing on left, although Rashford tends to play left side doesn’t he?

So could Sancho have been being playing on right, which isn't his preferred side?

Sancho is a strange one where he was excellent at Dortmund, consistently underwhelming with England and invisible at United.

Probably a case of being played out of position for England & Utd where the play went through other players compared to being the main man at Dortmund. but with the wage demands he’ll be asking for I imagine it’s not a gamble we would be likely to take up and he’ll go the Lingard route of winding down his contract on the bench wasting what could have been a promising career

No way we are forking out on those wages. United really have made some titanic disasters when it comes to transfers

He's seems like an instinctive dribbler. I think UTD bought him expecting him to progress past that, but I don't think he has and whilst I think some of that comes from UTD mainly deploying him on the right, his all round play looks worse now than it did 3 years ago.

Trouble I'm having is that the same could be said for most of our squad too. I have this dream that the right coach could see them (mostly) turned back into excellent players who play with a freedom and intent which got them to us in the first place. (Insert highly optimistic emoji). Same could be said for Sancho. At the right price and wages, if AP wanted a crack, I'd be delighted to see how it turned out.

My fantasy world sees all the hopes we had for the likes of Gill come true, now we are not going to play turgid rubbish.

In fact, till the reality of the season beats it out of me, this is going to be my most optimistic pre-season for a long while! Can't wait. 😁🎉🍻

"I can save her" vibes. Would certainly be a punt with huge potential upside if there's any truth to it

I think he would take a wage cut to come, we would suit him better he would be closer to goal with more attacking full backs

No player cheap or expensive is worth a punt. You either truely believe they are good enough or you leave alone.
