Jose clearly giving him a chance to get back in and basically saying the club are doing all it can and now its up to the player to do the rest. I really do hope he comes through this as the kid clearly has talent in a position we have been crying out for.

think that Tanguy and Jose are both working hard to make sure he can be at the fitness level needed - need a bit of luck as well

Really happy they are all working together on this and Mourinho praising NDombele but also challenging him. This is great.

N’Dombele, Winks and LoCelso are three top class central midfield players, we’ve not had three that good for a long time.

Add another striker and fullback to this squad and I think Mourinho could genuinely win some stuff with them.

Think we need 2 fullbacks and maybe a quality CB too as after Jans face tonight I think he will be off and I dont think Sanchez is consistent enough to rely on.

I agree that Vertonghen is on his way, but I think Sanchez is a work in progress and Mourinho is as good as anyone to do that work, as for replacing Vertonghen, Dier might have a role to play in that as I’m not sure he’ll get much game time in central midfield.

Hardest part is still working out how to get these guys out on the pitch together
I still can't work out our best XI or formation.
This Midfield looks great, but does Dele then get a game? (When Kane's fit?) Moura and Son seem to start most games.
