A few posters have voiced concerns recently that failure to qualify for the CL for next season could jeopardize our sponsorship deal with Investec.
On the contrary, it appears that Investec are keen to extend this deal - perhaps based on our excellent performances in the CL. it is also possible, as with players staying, etc, that they are privvy to future plans that we are unaware of.

Investec, the South African banking specialist that has sponsored English soccer team Tottenham Hotspur in the Uefa Champions League this season, has announced it has expanded its partnership with the London club.
Tottenham have announced that Investec will sponsor their pre-season tour to South Africa in July where they will play in the 2011 Vodacom Challenge Cup. During the tournament, Tottenham will wear Investec branded shirts, as they have done in the Champions League, where they reached the quarter finals, the FA Cup and the Carling Cup.
Throughout Tottenham’s training camp, Investec will work with the Premier League side on various grassroots and community schemes, including a coaching clinic and at the company’s local soccer initiative – the Investec Soccer League.
Investec first partnered with Tottenham as the club’s cup shirt sponsor in July 2010, with the firm’s logo appearing on the front of the team’s shirts for all matches in domestic and European knockout competitions. It is unclear whether a potential tour of South Africa was part of the initial agreement between the two parties.
Following the announcement, Stephen Koseff of Investec commented: "We are very proud to be supporting Tottenham Hotspur on our home turf in South Africa this winter where they will be playing their pre-season tour. After reaching the quarter finals of the Champions League and enjoying a hugely successful first season as cup competition shirt sponsor, Investec looks forward to welcoming the team to South Africa and introducing them to some of our wonderful projects."
Tottenham, who have South African internationals Stephen Pienaar and Bonjani Khumalo on their books and are partners of national champions SuperSport United, will kick off the 2011 Vodacom Challenge on 16th July against the Kaizer Chiefs, taking on the Orlando Pirates on 19th July ahead of the final on 23rd July."
