Hi guys,

So I've bought 2 tickets to the Leicester home game on 17th September - my wife is a hotspur+ member and I'm a hotspur member.

So yesterday I could get in and buy one ticket using her account and this morning I bought another ticket on my account. So far so good. The problem is that I now want to transfer my wife's ticket over to my mate John who is on both of our networks.

I don't appear to be able to do this - I have emailed the club and they have told me this is no longer possible and basically I'm fucked.

Please tell me I can sort this.

If there is a QR Code you can simply take a screenshot and send it to your friend

I was sceptical of this (Thanks to those on here that said it 100% worked ok) but it worked perfectly Saturday when I was just sent the QR code on WhatsApp

My QR code was from a Season Ticket but I’d imagine it’s the same principle

Maybe others can confirm

I don't think you can transfer ?? ...

Alternatively your mate can borrow your wife's phone for the game ??

Think Ticket Share is only available to Season Ticket holders not members but as others have said just transfer the QR code to your friends phone , to date I have never been asked for ID on entry .

Hi mate,

I had this problem for the Saints match, contacted the club and they basically said there is nothing you can do because only Season ticket holders can transfer.
I said it was crazy because the person I wanted to give the ticket to was in my network and the ticket was going to waste which would result in lost revenue for the club!

I did find a work around, if you are able to private message me I’ll tell you how ?

Hi guys,

Similar situation. Does snapshot of her digital pass work, or should I snapshot her member barcode from her iPhone, for a friend?

thanks in advance.

Is anyone familiar with the ticketing system?

I have two tickets to the Villa game. But I am looking to upgrade to some better seats closer to the pitch. Ticket office is telling me I am not able to put them on the exchange as I"m not a season ticket holder and not able to exchange my tickets because it's within 7 days of the game. Seems an insane system that I'm trying to spend more money with them but they're not letting me.

Only option is to try and sell to someone on a private fb group or through twitter, you can't transfer them, so you'll have to send them screenshots of the QR code, unless you have the pdf ticket..

Unfortunately it's not the club's job to take your tickets back that they already have the money for, and sell you 2 new tickets, to then worry about selling your original seats with 3 days to go until the game.

Like it or not.. the club has the money in the bank, so they don't want the risk of not selling the original 2. Especially when a lot of people will be staying at home because of the public transport problems.

Yeah, unfortunately I can't do that because the tickets will still be registered to my account and I won't be able to buy the new ones. Oh well!

Mentioning the public transport issues... I'm staying right next to Trafalgar Square, any advice on how early to leave and best place to go before the game?

Ah I see. That is a pickle then. Unless you buy from a 3rd party company.. there are also private sellers on some fb groups selling their premium seats.

Aim to get to the ground for midday, that'll cover you for any transport woes. The club will offer advice on how best to get to WHL, but as a I see it, the underground won't be running until after midday, overground along the Cheshunt Line is not operational, I'm not sure about Anglian services to Tott Hale or Northumberland Pk.

If you want to avoid drama, just share a cab. Maybe Underground back to the city after the game.

Ok, happy to pay for a cab if that's the best option.

Unless I have missed something the Victoria Line and most other underground lines are running OK on New Years day so you should be able to get the underground to Seven Sisters and walk from there to the Stadium . From Trafalgar Sq all you need to do is find your way to Green Park or Oxford Circus or Warren Street stations , all on Victoria Line and get the northbound trains to Seven Sisters , it's about a 10 to 15 minute journey from those stations to SS , all you need is a contactless debit/credit to pay, then it's about a 15 minute walk from Seven Sisters to the stadium .
TFL website will have updates on any problems with Underground.
