The Club is to join teams throughout the Premier League, EFL, FA Women's Super League and FA Women's Championship in boycotting social media from 3pm on Friday 30 April until 11.59pm on Monday 3 May, in response to the ongoing and sustained discriminatory abuse received by players and many others connected to football.

Let's see if it shakes the social media companies up because let's be honest it won't stop the trolls in the slightest. My initial thinking is it won't make a jot of difference. Hope I'm wrong.

If only they kept it going to 12.00 instead of 11.59. That would've really clinched it.

Akin to trying to stop bullies in school by giving the bullied kids a few days off
