"He has a number of different options, Arsenal, Chelsea & Tottenham"

The agent of Inter Milan youngster Davide Santon has confirmed Premier League rivals Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are all interested in the 19-year-old.

Once earmarked as the long-term successor to Paulo Maldini for the Italian national side, the precocious youngster’s career has faltered under Rafa Benitez, and his agent Renzo Contratto has confirmed his desire to move to the Premier League.

Contratto told Goal.com: "Of course he [Santon] wants to move to England and he has a number of different options, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham.

"We have a number of meetings lined up for the coming days with them, we'll know more after that point.

"He deserves and wants to play for high level clubs, his eyes are now away from Inter. A move in January would be possible but it will more than likely happen in the summer.

"The player is unhappy with the situation because he keeps playing in different roles, meaning there is no clarity from the coach.

"He's waiting for the World Club Cup to end, we'll then sit down to have a meeting with the management at Inter to decide his future."

It sounds like he's unhappy with the manager rather than the club, but Benitez is meant to be on borrowed time anyway. The world club cup finishes on 18/12/10 - hopefully we can get a deal done quickly before Inter decide to axe the manager.

I'd love for this to happen, but not at the expense of us signing that top striker we so badly need.

He won't get play time here at Spurs either if he thinks the grass is greener. At nineteen he should be biding his time or playing regularly for a team like Wigan.

Italian footy players in general are not "travelers" so not sure if the EPL would be his place. The guy's got talent for sure but with an more attacking minded new coach, Santon may prosper.
Besides, if he'd leave Inter to play more he wouldn't leave to sit on Spurs' bench :violin:
