Can someone explain to me what this club's deal is?
How can you spend £1billion in 12 months, not have a shirt sponsor, not have champions league, have a stadium with only 40k seats (with a new stadium construction in development hell) and still fall within FFP regulations?
Man United generate...
If Barcelona fans could read Tottenham forums, they would be having a serious laugh at some of the meltdowns over not signing Ansu Fati. They're keen to push him out for a reason...
Getting tired of all these Spanish, Italian and French clubs looking to pluck our expensive pickups on cheap, obligation-free loans. Bunch of dirty seagulls they are.
Hojbjerg has been a key-player for us for three seasons now, and while he's not at the top of the pecking order this season...
Do you seriously believe one league cup game conveys all the information required as to whether a player is good enough?
This is the same Fulham vs Spurs match where the manager played Solomon badly out of position on the right hand side? Solomon is a winger who likes to cut inside onto his...
...so sign a striker? It's not rocket science.
A proven striker who can play centrally and produce good goal output should be the absolute top priority right now, not an LW...
This season is going to end up seriously disappointing if those two are our options to play striker.
and what is etc...
Mate, Pochettino was 4-8 years ago. It was a different team back then and much has changed since.
He's had a mediocre last 12 months and a mediocre start to the season. It is absolutely ridiculous to think he can be trusted in a central striking role when it's never been his main position and...
Postecoglou also seems to believe Richarlison has what it takes to play a big role for us.
I like him as a coach, but he is only human and prone to misjudgment. I would be gravely concerned if he was satisfied with our CF options as things stand.
Still disputing this. Perisic and Solomon is...
Playing off Kane, one of the best hold-up strikers in the world, and starting at LW/LF.
Playing centrally requires a very different skillset and mentality. There is no evidence he can play this role at Premier League level, especially for a team trying to finish top 4.
Sorry but just thinking...
Don't know why people assume Son can just seamlessly adapt to a central role. He is anything but a sure thing to transition, especially while he's in poor form.
No. I think those two + Son are reasonable stocks at LW.
We do not need another LW.
RW should take far higher precedence. Kulusevski...
Ridiculous. How many left-wingers do we need? We already have Son, Perisic and Solomon competing for this position in the 11, the competition is brutal enough as is.
If we're going to sign any wingers, it should be a left-footed one who plays on the right.
He shouldn't be at RW in the first place. It's not his game.
This signing is questionable on the pretext that he's seemingly behind both Son and Perisic on the left.
I don't understand why Perisic can't be deployed on the right instead. Isn't he very strong on both feet?
That might be your opinion, but it doesn't change the fact that it's common practice.
Should we just let guys like Lo Celso and Solomon rot on the bench the whole time until someone gets injured?
Why are ppl potting Sanchez for his penalty? At least it was on target. Penalty shootouts are always a 50/50 thing.
Forster was just too old, too slow and his reflexes weren't sharp enough. There was always a strong chance we'd miss one before they did.
