As far as I'm aware, Paratici's 'consulting' work has been exclusively for us. Can't see any outcome other than us reinstating him the moment his ban is ended.

I don’t know if he actually did something for Sampdoria, but it was suggested in this article:

"Paratici was spotted in Milan today and while he is technically banned from working as a director at Tottenham after the Juventus capital gains scandal, he can still be a consultant for Sampdoria."

Your point pretty much stands either way.

Minute 4 is key for 3 reasons:
1”Ange is crystal clear about the strategy and style of play and type of characters he wants”
2”We are fully aligned as a club”
3”The is not just about Ange it’s about an overall club strategy for now and the future”

1 ticks the here and now with Ange ✅
2 ticks having CEO,Sporting Director, Head of Recruitment and Coach all aligned” ✅
3 ticks setting a foundation for the future of the club with a consistent playing style philosophy and focus on youth ✅

First time possibly ever under Levy that we’ve had all 3 of these boxes 📦 being ticked.

Exciting times.

He speaks well, says all the right things.

That’s a lot slicker than Don Fabio’s last transfer window roundup video….. which looked like it was done in a cheap hotel room on a phone.😂

A really good interview.

I think he nails it that every issue cannot be resolved in one window but this doesn't mean the club can't be proactive in looking into many targets.

I've always been of the view that when we're in a strong position, 1 first team squad player is good for January and I hate any panic buying of a player that might be slightly better than one of our weakest players but will soon be the next player we need to upgrade on.

Our current committee are showing that quality reinforcements can be obtained.

I'm all in favour of analytics and data, but alongside the eye test, not to replace it. Also there's the player's character and so on.
The data analysis is used to identify and screen players who are then watched by scouts. The aim is two fold: to consider a wider pool of potential new signings than could be done if the initial screening was done by scouts; and to then have scouts spend more time watching those players identified by the analysis.

I know nothing on the inner workings of football or out club but even I know that Mr Broomfield was spoken of very highly.
