His job is YouTuber/social media I presume?
The sooner people realise the more clicks they get the more money they receive then they’ll understand. I doubt he even believes half of what he says, clearly working for him as he’s made his way into here.

I don’t think there’s a major problem supporting him with clicks if people find some entertainment value in it, same as if they want to listen to TalkSport or whatever.

But I think you’re right that people should bear in mind how these platforms work, and why certain channels gain attention. Take it al with a pinch of salt basically.

He's now fairly regular on Talksport, so it's working for him just not sure why anyone wants to hear his insight on anything to be honest

Because it's funny I assume. I don't get it it personally but Talksport have a history of having co presenters who spout nonsense for comedy effect. I'm sure most will remember Mike Parry for instance.

They have presenters who spout nonsense specifically to generate as much reaction as possible. The more outrageous the discussions get the more people ring in to object to it. It's a wholly transparent business model.

Compared to Gaby Agbonlahor and Darren Bent, Mike Parry was Lord Byron

It is. I question the dignity of these individual's (not that they care). Most know the game/model by now but I'd still be embarrassed if my job was to explicitly talk that degree of bollocks just to generate money. Human dignity is decreasing every day and its depressing.

Pickings are probably fairly slim for a lot of ex footballers unless they're prepared to really slum it and get ordinary jobs. Any gig in broadcasting is money for old rope so I understand why they stoop to the levels they do in a lot of cases. I assume most of us have demeaned ourselves one way or another in the workplace.

Poch does half talk crap.

I absolutely loved him at spurs until the very end of his time as boss and was gutted when he was sacked.

But it then does make you realise the bollocks he chats once those wounds had healed.

And I know Todd Boehly has made a hash of the recruitment, but Poch still has a pretty decent base of players to choose from and should be doing a lot better than he is.
