Boro really won’t want to lose Hackney before the summer, and Genoa aren’t safe enough from relegation to sell us another good player. Leaves Gallagher and a 28 year old Cristante.
Isn't the Boro chairman a knob to deal with anyway? I remember that from the Djed Spence (ugh) deal

Gallagher simply isn't a £45m player. I'd be quite disappointed if we spent that much on him. Honestly i'd only take him for max £30m and thats only if we got £20m for PEH.

He was impressive for Palace, but with respect, standing out in a Palace team is much easier than Chelsea or us.

I've watched a fair bit of Chelsea this season since the interest in the summer and really havn't been impressed much by him, although fair to say Chelsea have mostly been shit.

Trouble is you look at the deals we're getting abroad especially in Serie A it's lot in comparison.

That’s a ludicrous fee and I personally would stay well clear at that price.

…but you have to back the manager and if that’s his #1 choice then any serious club goes out and gets him.

At least he’s not the Ndombele type who will sit around doing **** all and not put any effort in.

£45m is the high end already, much less an extra £10m in add-ons

There's better value elsewhere IMO.

Not worth it! Thank the Almighty we wouldn’t even consider paying 45+ incentives they would want. Wish everyone would wake up and stop championing him
Herc what price would u consider fair for him. To be clear I don't rate him at all so hope there is no truth in our interest but just wondering what people consider FMV

Personally I like the way he plays, he leaves everything on the pitch, good leader, decent eye for a pass, good finishing from a midfielder.

I appreciate he's got the PL experience and English tax on him, but think he ticks all the boxes for the way Ange sets up.

Especially if we have Europe next year we will need to rotate heavily to keep up the intensity.

And also, poch really rates him, so for full on pettiness it would be lovely. Poch going to them was hard, but taking a top player off him would be lovely...
