But if Genoa have said yes to both deals and player was waiting for Bayern this would be over and dusted? If he stil wants spurs, then why has not Bayern pulled out? Surely would go very fast if to clubs have an agreement.

And usually it means we miss out to the likes of the Pools, Citys, Chelsea and now Bayern

That's his job mate he'd be a shit agent if he wasn't pushing all the options. Then it's up to the kid at the end of the day.

If he really wants to go there to sit on the bench as a 4th choice CB then fair enough, he’s not for us.

We want players who want to be here and know how special Ange and his project is.

Indeed if he were set on Bayern we wouldn't still be there trying to get it over the line.

I asked a few pages back but are they trying to move on one of Upemcano or De Ligt? Seems odd to spend 30m on a fourth choice. For me, the Dier links actually made sense because he could be a fourth choice CB and kill some matches off at CDM in a Tuchel system for less than 5m.

I know De Ligt has had some injuries but I agree with you, I see Dragusin as the fourth choice. 30M for that slot is a lot for even Chelsea lol
They are very good at succession planning Bayern. But havnt heard anything about them moving any of those three on. Kim.is a monster for them. De Ligt has a big rep.

That's a good point. Didn't think about that aspect of it. Will he displace Micky or Cristian when we are fully fit? Same issues here with lack of game time
Based on Christian's card history, there is a better chance of game time with us. Also, expect the demands on our CBs will create more opportunities for rotation. Other than Ange and PL, I think this would be the biggest selling point.

The theme is the same of many failed transfers in the past: Levy spending weeks haggling on marginal price differences and the opportunity ends up completely lost.

I just think it's the wrong philosophy. You have to act quickly and decisively in life when opportunities present themselves. Otherwise you'll be constantly beaten to the punch by those who do act in such a way.

I would choose Bayern if I was him

They are pretty stacked at CB De Light, Upemcano and Kim. Also they are a bit of a basket case club. He'd be fourth choice. Obv choice is his but hed be better off coming to us.
Plus, if he comes to Spurs, even if he is third choice, he’s guaranteed to get game time as Romero is obviously a part time ninja who can’t miss a 3 match suspension here and there!

If we knew he were set on Bayern, anyway. Feels like the agent has told us the player only wants us, and probably has told Bayern that he only wants Bayern, and we won’t actually know which it is until somebody tries to get him to sign a contract and gets sent to voicemail.

The only other factor I can think of is that Bayern may pay a bigger fee to the agent.

Also if he can play LCB and RCB we can rotate between our three CBs and keep them all fit and sharp rather than running VDV and Romero into the ground.

Genoa gave all parties 24 hours yesterday to submit there proposals spurs agreed the deal early hours this morning the others all had time to submit and offer the deal was with legals when Bayern came in and the player had previously agreed terms with spurs it was still not signed was expected to be concluded this eve or in the morning . It would take a huge swing from Dragusin and if he chooses Bayern then so be it he isn’t for us I’m calm the club still remain confident we just have to wait I’m sure we get are answer tonight . It ain’t worth have a paddy and it’s not the clubs fault there have put a lot into it but it won’t be perceived that way if it doesn’t come off .
Thanks for the insight mate. Positive or negative news this is class
