There is an aspect I think of some people starting a fire with an aggregator type post then screaming fire ! Even when asked not to do it.
imagine doing that on COYS. Prof would have you in a virtual Chinese salt mine whilst licking Gweniveres boots or whatever their called. Ali Z is watching.
While I agree in someways, I don’t think it’s limited to just our fan base. It is throughout football now a days.

I f***ing love the transfer window even when things could be going south. There is some real comedy gold in here.
The bottom line is that while most of us (including me) would love to see him in a Spurs kit, he isn't a sure thing. No one is. I thought we would win silverware with Jose and AC. It's grain of salt time. We got Ange and he is getting a tune out of players that most thought were completely off key. (They were so off pitch that they needed to be off the pitch). yet here we are, near the top with that rag tag can't shoot straight gang despite a plethora of red cards and injuries. If he comes here, fantastic! if he doesn't, the only thing i care about is Ange getting someone he wants. thanks ITKs and all the posters in here. It really is good fun being a Spurs fan at the moment especially in SC. COYS

Yep and fans fall for it . We have been ahead of the trend guys with infothat’s what’s annoyed me it’s no one’s fault but we can’t respect every journalist in Italy as credible or any for instance . They’re creating news for engagement and a piece of what’s hot there’s always truth in information somewhere but the story gets Manipulated to suit the agenda of the person providing it. I knew this was coming tonight as I posted it earlier before I left.
I remember a while back someone on here saying that the nature of sports journalism is that they'll almost always be running a little bit behind - partly because they have to seek verification before posting anything more than an opinion or clearly presented rumour.
Of course, if they get a direct brief from the club, player or agent that may be different, but if a journalist says that "reports in Italy" or wherever then as far as I can tell they're sharing what they've heard on the grapevine. If they "understand" then it's come from a good source. And if they present it as the truth then they've heard it from a primary source.
And with Eric Hall's Romanian counterpart enjoying his spell in the spotlight, then it appears he's been briefing here, there and everywhere - all in the name of getting his client the best possible deal, and not incidentally getting his own name out to the wider footballing world.
It's all part of the game - as transparent and honest as US-Soviet relations in the 1950s, and seeing the effect it has on some people is a bit worrying. I half wonder how many of the Twitter accounts interacting with Romano's etc tweets are run by real people, and how many are rogue bots just adding to the noise as they jump on trends while some AI is taught how to replicate human interactions... but I also know there's some short-tempered folks out there, and social media doesn't tend to bring out the best in any of us. (My own tendency to ramble being one such example...)
Anyway, thanks to all those who share in good faith - now let's bring on Dragusin, or a suitably competent alternative if the deal goes south for whatever reason!

This place gets so toxic sometimes, in the Summer it was unbearable at times with every thread people just moaning and criticising everything.
I get enough toxicity from my wife, coming on here and seeing it just bores me.
Also a big thanks to the updates from @What Lies Beneath not just for sharing, but for sharing in a positive way.

In my experience this forum is the most calm and reasonable place you'll find that discuss Spurs online. X, YouTube and other forums are far worse in that matter.

That's why I'm here, but it still can get toxic at times.
I wouldn't bother with any of those other places to be honest, but I can imagine the sorts that go on there.
