The bottom line is you don't know what you are talking about. You are using you're own opinion and imagination as fact. I'd be very very surprised if kane were to leave in this Summer's window, and that's based on far more than just opinion.

Agree totally. Iirc, one of the ITKS in fact said that we could well have lost Kane if Poch had stayed. I would be astonished if he left now though.

I'm sure Harry wants to win trophies, so where better than under a proven winner like Mourinho. At the end of Jose's tenure, if he still has no medal to show for his efforts, maybe he'd go then. He could even just stay because he loves the club more than personal glory. Much like Shearer choosing Newcastle rather than Manchester United. Although obviously he had a Premier League winner's medal already with Blackburn.

Not a fucking chance he leaves this summer.

1. He's on a massive, long contract.
2. Daniel Levy.

I can see the first seeds of doubt being sown, though. Wouldn't be at all surprised if he's starting to plan his exit with an eye on next summer. Will honestly be hard to find anyone willing to pay the Levy tax even then, though.

There’s also very few examples these days of big money spent on players 27+ that’s not even factoring in his injury record. Clubs are definitely looking to spend the big money on players like Sancho Haaland etc. However much I rate Kane I wouldn’t spend much more than £100m on him and Levy would laugh you out of town.

Stuck Yankspurs on ignore ages ago, my experience has changed for the better
I can't do it. There's something impressive about someone who has so much confidence in himself for absolutely no reason.

Every season he makes the same ridiculous ott predictions. Every year he says we have no chance of top 4. For the first time in 5 seasons he might just be correct.

If Kane gets to his mid 30s and decides he can't hack the Prem anymore he might go abroad and he'll finally be correct that we decided to cash in on him.

How long is left on his contract? 4 years after this season? That guarantees 2 more years with him because there isn't a club on Earth that could afford him with more than 2 years left on his deal. I always thought it would be Man City that went for him big style, but now UEFA have got their teeth into their cheating I can't see it.

Yeah, I think he’s an incredible player but it’s not something I’d necessarily be thrilled about if my club dished out huge money on him. His injuries would scare the shit out of me.

I think Kane will stay next season to give Jose a chance and the opportunity to win a trophy at Spurs but I would not blame him for looking at the end of next season to make his decision.

I would be gutted if he went but players come and go and albeit not always of his calibre, the club will carry on. The only benefit is the money we would get for him would be able to source some replacements. I really hope that Jose is thinking of succession planning for him.

while i don't think Kane will leave in the summer (opinion based on his love for spurs + length of contract + injuries this season reducing transfer/ salary possibilities) it is remarkable that it wouldn't really shock anyone.

Remarkable to think that at the 2018 WC we had the most players in the semi finals (had finished a couple of fantastic seasons in the Prem), youthful side playing fantastically away from home at Wembley and the most indemand manager around.

And by the Euros we will have lost the best manager most of us have known, have an utterly uneven squad, may lose Kane and that is with a CL final in between (2019).

What a let down - and yet, on the back of one (very good) capital project (that came in late and over budget) our chief executive is THE best paid in the business.

The club clearly trying their best to create some positivity amongst fans by posting this. They haven’t had much to shout about on social media in recent weeks.
Oh just wait until they announce Bergwijn and Davies are out for a bit
