No point in airing our unhappiness. We should now all get behind him, AVB clearly thinks he is useful in someway and I am fine with that. He can get goals and we will need an impact sub in the league. I imagine he will be playing in all cup games and Europe and hopefully he can get us goals.

Adebayor, Defoe and Kane. Not the ideal situation but it will do until January. Let's hope we get a winger in who can score and then Lloris and Moutinho:unsure:

Good point, so I guess we are covered in that area just not as hoped.

Maybe we weren't getting the offers we wanted for Defoe so we got him to sign a new deal so that we can squeeze more out of some desperate club like Villa in January:)

Yep.
And if we are playing 4-2-3-1 we need goals from all those front four anyway. And we will have a decent pool of players to pick from:

VDV
Bale
Lennon
Sig
Dembele

some players like playing for certain clubs and dont want to leave defoe i believe is one of them. an excellent squad player and will be a valuable player this season. will get over 15 goals this season maybe over 20.
