I just don't understand why anyone would want to go to Barca once the mighty Spurs show interest, some of these youngsters need their heads looking at. 😗😗😁
I remember it well, we had to win by two clear goals as well, to show they were letting us win they
walked straight through our defence from the kick off after we went 3-0 up and again when we went 4-1 up.
I would love us to repay the favour if we hadn’t of had such a poor end to the season...
This is the part that really gets to me, the words ”football side of the club”, Tottenham Hotspur is a football club, not a mulit sports and entertainment centre or a vessel to finance Levy’s building project. After 23 years with him in charge I doubt that this one simple fact will dawn on him.
So many people want Levy removed from power, so how are we/you going to achieve that?
Protests outside the ground? they won’t do anything to remove Levy in themselves but if there were enough people for it to reach the media/press then he might just start to notice.
Protests inside the ground...
Take into consideration that the European cup didn’t start until 1955 and the European cup winners cup in 1960 along with the league cup then we did very well during the 60’s,70’s and 80’s. I stand firmly in the ENIC/Levy out camp, I don’t hate Levy like some are saying on here, hate is too...
Some interesting points of view in here and I can understand both sides of the argument.
Around a year a go I was willing to give Levy one last chance as the Club had appointed a great coach and two good players in the January transfer window.
I am now of the opinion that I want to see new...
I’m not sure what exactly people expect from Joe Lewis to be honest, he’s an investor and nothing more, the running of the club is down to Levy. From what I have been told I believe he has tried to give a cash boost to the club in the past but as an investor wanted a larger slice of the pie...
It even makes me chuckle looking back on it but there was something magical about the old WHL and Spurs teams, I use to go to Brentford a lot on my own as we lived pretty close to the ground and my parents didn’t think it safe for me to travel across London on my own, they were so right, lol.
I...
Congrats on 60yrs @Spurslove .
My first game at WHL didn’t come until the early 1970’s, it was a home game against Ipswich which we lost either 2-0 or 2-1 , can’t remember which and I went with a friend.
It was the journey home that was more memorable as Arsenal were playing Chelsea , All was...
Don’t call me a liar mate, you don’t know me.
If I can find the paper that I read it in I’ll take a photo of the article and post it, it was a few weeks back but I’ll try.
If our local newspaper, The Brighton Argus is anything to go by you can forget Potter all the time ENIC are here, he was quoted as saying he was approached about our vacancy and after talking to Levy decided that he never wants to work under him.
As much as I’d love to see the back of Levy and ENIC the biggest problem that remains is who would now be willing to buy us at our current value?
Personnally, I can’t see anyone who wants to see a successful team winning trophies willing to part with that amount of money unless it’s an oil rich...
I couldn’t agree more regarding the match day threads, as I said in a previous post I’ve lurked this site for over a decade and use to use those threads as an insight into what was happening on the pitch if I couldn’t watch or listen on a radio, I don’t bother these days because I’m none the...
