    exactly. Pjanic won’t command a higher wage as a free agent so he won’t agree to mutually terminate. If Barca really need to get rid of him they will probably have to subsidize his wages a bit as part of a loan or free transfer unless a club is willing to pay him his whole wage.

    This logic rarely gets used when talking about normal signings or when we brought in Bale though. If we buy a player for 10M and sell him for 10M it means “we got our money back”.     Yeah, I think both would be hurt by Nuno’s arrival. It seems he prefers a more defensive pairing. Lo Celso would have the best chance as he could maybe play in a two or more advanced. it’s a shame that we haven’t been able to see a real run at a midfield 3 of PEH, Lo Celso, and Ndombele.
