    Spurs in France (Paris)

    I live in Paris. Normally watch the games from home but otherwise I like Bugsy’s or the Bowler, both in the 8th. Bugsy’s is a bit “posher” than the Bowler as it’s closer to the British embassy. They should both be showing the game given it’s the early one. Both do a decent burger as well.

    How about the fact he attends almost every single game. And has done for the 20 odd years he’s been around. He doesn’t have to do that. And if it was only about the investment, I doubt he would. Caring is not the same thing as competence. But it’s a good start.

    Does anyone know if they're checking ID, and whether it matches the ticket, at the new stadium? Thinking of spending silly money on stubhub or one of the other "unauthorised" resellers. Trying to assess what the risk of being denied entry is.

    Foreign fans

    I think it's more a case of there being animosity towards "glory supporters" or "plastic fans". Foreign fans, rightly or wrongly, are often associated with this.
