Levy got greedy with the Dier to Bayern deal, thinking he could do a ‘Kane’ on them. They’ve got pissed, and decided to throw their hat in the ring for Dragusin?

Ah come off it would you, don’t be so condescending. People gave off about Levy, not you or anyone on here.
Yeah I posted some stuff that was probably a bit silly as did others, but it’s because we care about the club and are passionate about us doing well.
We can win the fucking league this season but it seemed Levy was up to his old ways haggling over fuck all.
He left us with 2 bloody centre halves in the summer. 2!
He has hamstrung every manager in his reign. It seems we have hit the jackpot with Ange and he still won’t push the boat out

The one thing I have yet to see is Dragosin changing his mind in having the PL as his preferred destination.
For all the good points about his character earlier in this thread, I can imagine if he's given his word that he will actively look to honour that rather than be turned easily - regardless if it's Bayern.
Think we are forgetting what a pull Ange has had on past transfers and will continue to have on prospective players - we just need the bean counters to actually agree a fee!

You can go to nearly every fan forum and see people bemoaning their clubs transfer business.
Fact is no club lands all its targets and no club has 100% success rate on signings.
We have signed a bunch of gems of late in Sarr, Udogie, Maddison, Porro, Romero, Van De Ven, Deki, Bentacur etc etc.
A bit further back we had duds like N'dombele, Regulion, Spence and Gio....but even with those the fan base was nearly universally estatic we signed them so it is rich to come back with 20/20 hindsight and moan.
Regarding missing targets, for every Willian there has been your Berahino, Damiaos and even Diaz who everyone was outraged by but....has been fine, not amazing.
I think we will get Radu, I hope we do, but the world doesn't end if we dont

I’ve always been fairly moderate in my expectations of transfers.
But many of our fan base have some how swung from two equally ridiculous positions.
From Tapsoba AND Van de Ven or we riot.
To Van De Ven and nobody but it’s fine because vibes.
Then to Van de Ven, still nobody, and remove Sanchez, and still vibes.
And now 6 months later...still nobody, playing 4 full backs, loosing one of those full backs, loaning out our backs ups, and let’s be sanguine about pissing about for our 2nd choice CB.
This is a key requirement we’ve had for the last 4 coaches.
The process shows complacency and utter negligence from DL and it isn’t acceptable.

First big test for Munn, fingers crossed he’s got this one under control. Insecurity creeping in as this was a deal that felt like it needed to be done and should have been done quickly and efficiently. Nervy wait let’s hope VDV doesn’t have any recurrence as we have gone from threadbare to stark bollocks naked.

ITK has been consistent with this all along and even reliable journos. People need to relax, if we are in for high potential and reasonably priced players they will always attract big clubs.
At the moment we are in a real position to offer them a real chance of a crack of being a PL player with a manager that wants them.
What will be will be, if BM come in with a massive offer to Genoa and offer the player a silly contract, what could Levy have done any different? Agents and clubs will always offer the player around when it’s clear the player is leaving.
