Newcastle, West Ham and Aston Villa talk a hell of a lot of shit considering all three have been relegated and promoted in recent memory.
I find it really weird that some Villa fans think they’re anything other than a club who had a good season. West Ham are just full of it after that poxy 3rd rate Euro shield win, and they’re obviously West Ham fans too so there’s that tax as well. But Villa?!

Behave 😂

  • "Both ourselves and Liverpool should have thrashed them to be honest.
But when you look closely at them, you can see that they are incomplete and relying more on luck to get by for now. And that is ok since they are just restarting.
Good enough to challenge for top 4 if they stay fit, but not complete enough for a title challenge."

I really don't get this? At no point in either game were Pool or the Gooners so dominant that they should have "thrashed" us? I also think the gooners have had as much luck as us!
They only "should've thrashed" us in the eyes of their own fans because they're so much bigger and better than us.
Anyone who watched either game knows full well that's a bullshit statement, Spurs fan or neutral.

  • Credit where its due, Tottenham have made a Fantastic start to the season. Ange has come in, and done well so far. He has been a fresh set of eyes on the Club, having not had worked with Harry Kane in the team, he has had a clean slate (in effect) on how the team operates.
Appears to be no Harry Kane hangover so far, the players have stepped up.
I do like there Stadium, that one tiered stand behind the goal looks impressive. Having American football at the Stadium, (using a different pitch) is an impressive idea.
Not much to laugh about regards Tottenham at the moment.

  • Well , I’m odd ! Very odd !!
    I can’t hate Tottenham.
Yes I’m through and through an Arsenal supporter and finishing above The Spuds and beating them is always a pleasure but my boy hood hero was Jimmy Greaves and the gentlest of all humans is Big Pat Jennings , without doubt my favourite of all players .
Pat was the most natural of keepers and as for Jimmy G , one of the , if not the greatest goal scorers ever to play the game . YouTube is your friend should you have any doubts .
Saint and Greavsie was the most iconi of all football programmes.
Big Pat , YouTube will tell you all you need to know .
Two incredible players , two of the games most iconic players .

  • I believe they are getting so much praise because many felt they would look as bad Chelski after Kane left.
  • Some of their player comparisons to ours are comical. How many times is 'Cuti' Romero going to be at fault for giving away a golden chance. He has at least two bozo moments per match and they compare this guy to Saliba. They compare Kulusevski to Saka, Maddison to Ødegaard, Bissouma to Rice. They also need to stop talking about Haavertz when they have Richarlison who is dogshit into his second season. 2 league goals in 35 matches. Its a crime against humanity this waffler is preferred to Jesus and Martinelli in the Brazil national team. Now wonder Tite got the sack.
They also have zero squad depth and the notion that not playing in Europe is a good thing is so false. Those European nights are how players get XP points, how they level up. You want your players to add pedigree to their game and they cant do that eating a Thai takeaway on Wednesday or Thursday nights.
This is why I want us to take the League Cup seriously. Winning begets winning and standards should be upheld at all times. If you think going out of a competition is a 'blessing in disguise' then you will not reach higher heights. I was alarmed last year when so many of our fans low key celebrated the EL exit to Sporting. Thats not how you build winners.
We saw that soft underbelly yesterday with Sp**s. Thats a team that isnt battle hardened.
  • And yet they sit top of the table having already played 3 of the toughest fixtures.
As long as their results match/exceed ours, they’ll compare and big up their players. We would do the same. Normal fan stuff.
This is unfortunately not the right time to mock them
  • Also on current form Maddison > Ødegaard
  • I've lost count the amount of times Sp**s have started better than Arsenal as a whole only for the 2nd half of the season to tell a different story.
  • They look good, and are in title form right now. This is their best start since 61 I believe.
It remains to be seen if it can be kept up though, as we’ve been saying here. I don’t think they are title challengers in the long run
  • They have also faced 3 of the newly promoted sides , a faltering utd side and an absolutely robbery vs Liverpool.
They've done well but we all know its going to end badly for them, can't rely on luck throughout the whole season.
  • they do look good this season, I like Ange
  • 4/6 of Spurs’ wins this season (current bottom 4)
Still not entirely sure how arsenal thought they should have thrashed us?

Half of them have accepted we look good.

The other half are still in denial.

This luck thing is being totally over egged because of the Liverpool game.

All teams have varying amount of luck, and the Gooners have had their fair share.

But as the old saying goes, you make your own luck too.

This isn't 3/4 games in, its 8.

Not a huge amount of games in , but enough to start looking at the table and how it's shaping up.

Just to be clear, I don't think that Leicester's team were all juiced up to the eyeballs, just feel I need to make that clear now that I've been made aware that people read these strings of shapes I keep putting up...
Its all getting very serious jn here ain't it.

Just bumped into a Chelsea mate of mine and even he said, as much as he hates Spurs, he can't help but love Big Ange. 😄
Ange has won over so many people already, from pundits to oppo fans.

I didn't even think to ask what he thought of Poch.

  • Thats a team that isnt battle hardened.

I read that as “bottle hardened” and was wondering what exactly he was trying to say. As if they have a bottle hardened team after two of the biggest season ending bottle jobs in the history of the sport. Now I’m just disappointed I misread it as it would have been my favourite gooner quote.

Here, I corrected to what he really wanted to say.
