Tottenham have potentially taken a key step in replacing Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg as transfer interest from Atletico Madrid steps up.

maybe he wants out too, who knows...I believe this would be a mistake, gets far too much stick from our fans.
I'd have thought that's what's behind it, I wouldn't stay if I was him.maybe he wants out too, who knows...
And a decent replacementI wouldn't stand in his way if he wants to go and we get a decent fee.
And a decent replacement
Massively in favour of this, if PEH goes it’s a perfect opportunity to start this much heralded pathway for our youngsters and he has it all and has already shown he has so not exactly a gambleProbably, although Bentancur being out is hopefully temporary. I'm hoping to see much more of Sarr this year.
He'd be useful to keep around as a squad option but this is also the absolute best time to sell him.
He's about to turn 28, has 2 years left, isn't really a natural fit for Ange's style and is one the few players we can afford to lose who has genuine value.
We've been so bad at selling players over recent years and a decent fee for PEH (ideally 25m+) would be a very sensible sale. If we hang on to him he's unlikely to be a starter and will just lose value and either be sold for less in a year or leave on a free in two.
No brainer if Atletico make a decent offer.
Absolutely agree. I would let Hojberg go and put all money into one of the top CB options Tabsoba, Laport or Bremer. Then give Saar a proper chance to show what he can do.if we use any fee received for PEH to sign both Tapsoba and VdV then I wouldn't be against him moving to Athletico.
CB positions need to be the priority now.
