So the Mikey Moore deal is

Two- Year Scholarship up until 30 June 2025

Then automatically into a one-year pro until 30 June 2026.

Callum Olusesi has signed the same offer.

Although not announced officially Luca Gunter, Alfie Dorrington and Jamie Donley also had this style of agreement. Spurs do it for those they believe are exceptional talents.

I am confused. I thought Dante was already an U21 player last season.
You can play U21s whilst being a third year scholar. I think owing to injury he was offered a scholarship again (maybe there a rule I don’t know about in that regards) but If you look on the Premier League website retained list you will see that he’s listed amongst the Scholars and not the professionals.

Can the pro deal be longer or is that as long as it’s allowed?

Out of curiosity how much are these young lads roughly getting money wise? No idea what the going rate is for talented youngsters nowadays.

Not sure it's been mentioned here but J'neil Bennett (former spurs) has been released by Brentford B.
I think its an indication that he's not seen as someone who's going to develop much beyond what he is which is a bit of a one tricky pony. He gets the ball out on the left, shimmies, cuts in on his stronger right foot and blasts the ball at goal from the edge of the box. It can be effective but its also really low percentage and very predictable. Unless he adds a different dimension to his game, then his trajectory is lower half conference national or upper half conference south. There's plenty of players down there that are really good at one thing. If you just saw a compilation of them doing that one thing you'd think they were phenomenal. Watch them for 90 minutes and you see how limited they are.

Yeah, saw that on Twitter. This thread has where everybody from that release is now, if that’s interesting for anybody:

And this has the previous year:

I can give you one. But I would love someone else to give a detailed explanation on their views on Rameli Carter.

Has more been said about the conditions of his contract, which suggests we’re going to change how we structure our youth set-up?

Fully believe Devine will prove himself in pre-season and be given the chance to play decent minutes this season. Wouldn’t surprise me one bit if his emergence allows us to sell a midfielder like PEH, who doesn’t fit Ange’s system, without a replacement coming in.

I think Scarlett is exactly the type of striker that Ange likes. Someone who leads the line and attacks the channels. He's not ready, in my opinion, but it'll give Ange the ability to try some things out.
