He looks the same mould, not sure they would compliment each other.Left footed, front foot defender, but a bit too similar to Romero maybe?
He's right-footed, but I agree that he's likely too aggressive.Left footed, front foot defender, but a bit too similar to Romero maybe?
Roma Director is in England currently. Maybe chatting to us too?

Because I'm a cat?wimeow.
When did it become mandatory that only left footers could play as a lcb? He's not left footed. Cracking player.
First and foremost he’s an excellent defender, aggressive and very quick, times tackles well and reads the game well. Was a little bit suspect on the ball and error prone but improved on that this season and if we’re playing an Ange system that kind of weakness won’t be exposed as he’ll have plenty of passing options all the time. I genuinely think he’s the kind of CB that’s made for the PL and the type of quick and physical strikers they have to deal with these days, none of them would enjoy playing against a Romero/Ibanez partnership at all
Controversial take - Bit wary of signing players or sporting directors from Roma after Lamela and Baldini. Roma screwed us over the Lamela deal.
I was in at “Roger.”

Ashley Young played left back for ages.Agree it’s odd- although not as odd as when we use right footed left backs (when has there been a left footed right back ever?)
That said, a left footed LCB does give great angles to pass around presses which right footers can’t give. It’s understandable why they are a preference. Players that can use both feet equally well are gold dust
