Stellini could have done something different, but it’s exactly as if Conte had picked the line up and the tactics. Even the substitutions were complete bollocks!

As an absolute minimum Son should have been dropped.

Pathetic!

There are youth players

There are other formations

There is trying to get on the front foot if you don't trust your defence

There's Danjouma and Sarr

Just try something else FFS!
The heirachy in the team is sickening. No reason they not getting play time and Son getting more than an hour. Even the blind could see what's wrong. Unless you tell me teir contracts have some clauses that the club is saving money on.

Lucas sending off was a product of the way we were playing, no connection between players, no rythm, couldn't string two passes together, on the back foot the whole time so when he lost the ball it was a tackle of desperation that led to the red card. Absolutely no style or system or strategy or tactics to overcome ten men.

You can blame all the managers you want, but this has been a gutless, prideless, embarrassing showing from the players. It's the worst display I've seen in years considering this is a full strength team out there. No one wants the ball, no one wants to make runs, and nobody looks like they give a shit.
.
That doesn’t excuse the fact it was Stellini who did utterly nothing to arrest the pressure Everton were inexplicably putting us under.

He has two opportunities to put on a midfielder, which would’ve given us more command in the middle of the pitch. Instead he decided to bring on Sanchez who is literally the king of chaos and Lucas Moura who runs with his head down.

The choice of passes from our players when we went 1 nil up was so dumb. Even when we beat the first press we passed it backwards again into pressure. Our midfield is poor tbh, I know they have their fans on here but they are not good enough. I don’t think a new manager is going to make to much difference for the rest of the season with the options we have. I can see why a manager wouldn’t want to come now. Romero and Porro were good I thought. Hope Everton go down. Can’t stand there fans

Conte’s failed system is a major part of the problem. Refusing to take any responsibility for his own contribution to the shitshow that has been thurs season doesn’t make him a hero
Spot on.

People who blame this all on the players don’t know football. Players mentality and quality needs to improve but this formation and system is killing them.

This team is a waste of everyone's time man. One of the most embarrassing last 15 mins of football I've ever seen.

One goal and one player up. Should have coasted home, but invited so much pointless pressure. Bring on Sanchez and Lucas?? Deserve to loose just for that.

Should have stuck on Sarr, extra body in midfield and seen the game out.

I hate to admit it but it seems like Conte was right. God help us. If this is Stellini what will the rest of season be like? I have never seen a more gutless and disgusting performance in the 60 years I have followed Spurs. I thought these players would respond to the criticism but they are obviously not sufficiently bothered about it.
Don't worry, soon we'll get the template "we know we need to do better" social posts from the players before they give another gutless performance next weekend.

I agree but that would be absolutely embarrassing for the board wouldn't it?
He should go but also there’s no chance Mason would be able to get anything more out of this lot. Something intrinsically rotten about our team currently.
