Honestly after the summers dealings with Conte i'd be surprosed if he even wants to answer the phone to us

Clear as day, we want a new man in and want to secure them first.

Whether that is nailing Conte down and agreeing to his demands first or negotiating for someone in a job, who knows?

The headline is worse than the article imo. Basically confirms your gone when we get our new manager.

The good news just keeps pouring in lads :playful:

Like clockwork.

BUt moreover, the Nuno situation is a shambles. This club are completely tone deaf, an utter laughing stock. How can Nuno stay on? pathetic.

Yeah, this is weird. If the board are not close in finding a replacement then they need to get a caretaker in but if the replacement is only a few days away then just sack him now ffs.

I don't think this means we're actually sticking with him. I just reckon they're buying some time to find a proper replacement and maybe hoping Nuno can limp on into the international break before they let him go.

However, given it took us about 3 months to settle on the awful pick that is Nuno, I'm not exactly optimistic about us coming up with someone convincing in the next 2 weeks.

Gary Jacob piece is as I expected it to play out tbh. Lets hope we get the next man in place ASAP.

The tweet doesn't tally with the first line of the article, which suggests he will be sacked. Jacobs hedging his bets I reckon.

This club. Nuno doesn't deserve this treatment no matter what's happened on the pitch. Sack him and just let Mason take us to the international break.

I mean having Nuno there or not openly saying he is sacked is fine with me. The whole world knows we are bringing in a new manager BUT huge But here if we go into Thursday with Nuno in charge then it becomes a really really bad look. I wouldn't be shocked if Levy avoids going to that match

stay of execution probably cos conte has rejected us AGAIN? and we now have no replacement lined up? IF true, yet another shitshow from the top.

Utter nonsense. If it's been decided he's out the door, then keeping him until we find a replacement is total negligence.

The players won't have time for someone knowing he's about to be sacked. And Nuno himself is going to have zero motivation.
It would make more sense to let Mason (I'd actually prefer Chris Powell) take temporary charge of the next 2 games.
