Kane is leaving no matter what. The only way he stays is if we're challenging for the title which obviously isn't happening.

Maybe - but I personally think that ship has sailed for him - anyway if we don’t find a manager that can produce a team that creates chances for the strikers everyone loses

I don’t know if it was Donna Cullen in the Amazon doc who couldn’t comprehend how playing behind closed doors was an advantage to the away team ?

They have no clue about the game. Can’t imagine in meetings they’re discussing distances run or chance creation statistics. They look at the table and think okay not too bad all things considered. They should have nothing to do with manager choices and never should have, they have no knowledge or qualifications to be involved in this. It’s like us bringing in Ralph Rangnick to deliver our new stadium back in the day.

If I may interject - if the next manager gets us playing attacking football then the Harry situation will get resolved - in my opinion
The Harry situation gets resolved by a top club putting in a suitable offer for him or him accepting that the top clubs don't want him.

I agree, sacking Nuno is soo pointless unless there is a massive manager taking over.. it's going to be the same shit over and over with these players..

They're hiding and a massive managerial appointment takes that luxury from them..

Why would any top manager take the job though, to get thrown under the bus by these shit performances.
Not only the players but by the chairman as well he can't be trusted

My expectation is that we will recruit yet another defensive minded Portugese manager and we will all be left saying "surely one of these times it HAS to work."

If they were planning to give him a vote of confidence and a rousing sticking together and determined to improve speech I think we would of heard by now...certainly by tomorrow morning at the latest.

It's much more likely the decision has already been made and we're working on his successor before announcing his sacking.

Tottenham not only ruined my Saturday with that eye gougingly horrific performance but they've now ruined my Sunday coz I'm scouring the Internet all day for news on Nuno.

I wish I didn't care. Fuck you Tottenham.

It’s not pointless for me to be honest. Going to the game to see zero shots on target really isn’t acceptable. If we tread water for season fair enough but fans shouldn’t have to waste their spare time watching this. Even Mason as unqualified as he is fans would at least see some goals and chances. It’s so so boring right now. I’d rather chaotic nonsensical football that at least is entertaining than another 30 games of this tepidness.

Yep one of BCs favourite phrases...open lottery football...

What I'd give to see that now...at least you feel alive and not in a coma watching that...

You would hope by now our Daniel is carrying quite a big ‘defensive Portuguese coach scar’ particularly on his wallet…
