Everton game is irrelevant in terms of Nuno.

Even if we managed to win it...he's still not the right man to take us forward.

Its painfully clear...I hope Trix's update means its hours away ie today/tomorrow.

Shocking situation really. He obviously needs to go but I do wonder what’s stopping Levy acting. Is it Paratici or is it a lack of a viable alternative candidate? Presumably Paratici will want another defensive manager to come in if we do end up sacking him. I’m seriously concerned about all this. I don’t see a way out of this hole anytime soon.
Then Paratici should go as well then.

Scott Parker seems an obvious choice. Even with a clearly good squad, he’s got them pulverising the rest of that division. He’s a Spurs fan and had a good spell with us, great for knee session in fact, so would settle the pilgrims. He also is assistant quite inspirational and motivating.

It really made no sense from the start. What’s the point of having our training centre, and our stadium, to go and hire a guy Wolves just parted ways with? Shambolic decision which just shows us to be novices.

And now Levy will have to pay for it, whether that’s sucking it up and going for Conte and backing him and his staff, or paying for another coach who is in a job. How Levy can even look people in the eye at the moment is just mind boggling.

Just got off the phone to a good contact. Says it's just a matter of time now.

Let's hope there's more of a plan than last time.
Hope your contact happened to have to get off the phone as he was due to go on a trip to check out river plate

Was there ITK that Nuno had fallen out with FP??

I wonder if that's cause Paratici is telling Nuno what he needs to do and he's not happy about that. Or perhaps FP has just aired views that the attacking side of the game is not good enough.

But if Nuno is the one who has upset FP, then that's hardly a wise thing to do as that's basically his best ally.
Equally, what self respecting manager wants to take instructions from the DOF? Yes, work together on the recruitment strategy, but having the DOF sat behind the subs bench barking out instructions and meddling with tactics / squad selection is a massive red flag.

I was very negative before he got here, decided to give him a chance and try to be positive. Oh well ?
Most of us tried mate, it was the right thing to do even if we weren’t rewarded for it. Whoever gets employed we have to try our best to get behind them from the off.

???

How can some people say Conte would be wrong for us.

He’s exactly the manager we need to weed out the under performers who have been here for far too long.

Guessing here, but could have something to do with people knowing we can’t get him, so we are conjuring up reasons why he’s not a good fit so when he rejects us it doesn’t hurt so bad.

If I was gonna guess I’d assume it’s international break, far easier to sort it out then rather than faffing about with a midweek game with an interim coach

Potter would be my first choice but Parker should be on our list...absolutely.

Certainly in the minority here, but I think he should be given until the end of the year, if nothing improves, then a new manager for 2022.

10 league games and a manager gets the boot these days. It's crazy.
But can you see anything changing, we’re just going downhill
