It’s the same every summer transfer window. It’s starts off with “money to spend not dependent on out goings” and the links with top players before later in the window we settle for one in one out and players with potential ,which I’m personally ok with as I believe it’s served us well in the past.
The worst “spin” for me was being linked with Pochettino and conte in the week leading up to season ticket renewals and then scrapping the bargain buckets when the deadline had past.
Not knocking any of the ITKs, they are passing on information in good faith but the BS being fed to them is coming from the top imo

That was painful listening on the way home this afternoon.

Was hoping Nuno would switch it up for the second half but the red just pushed any resistance over the edge.

Nuno is going to have to work out how to solid but create chances.

Sorry but this is just fuelled by the summer. Kane has games where he can’t get involved but so does Son, Kane is our best player and it’s not close.

Also hard to complain too much today. Hard to blame a striker for not getting involved when you can’t string 2 passes together in midfield. We selected a midfielder today who literally hid between the centre back and left back when we had the ball. If you want to talk about going missing start there

Can anyone explain what it is that managers see in Harry Winks? Seriously would like to know. Maybe I don’t understand something. What qualities does he bring and what is the role he is asked to play?
I used to love Dele, but he is clearly the icing and not the cake.
The midfield is the problem, and we are worse than last year having lost Sissoko, who would have brought more athleticism and dynamism than Skipp, Winks and Adele combined.

We needed another CB who is a leader, a backup / second striker and a creative midfielder. Poor window. So no excuses crying about injuries / suspensions now..

As we're stuck with him I was hoping he'd play in the ECL and make the occasional sub appearance. So it was disappointing for him to start today. He's just several levels below what we need.

Absolutely bang on mate.

Kane will never be a Messi or Ronaldo, as you say they can grab again by the scruff of its neck when the going gets tough for often than not Kane goes into hiding.

Sonny has won us games on his own out of nothing time and time again.

Kane is a great goal scorer and the more chances you give him the more he will score but he doesn’t that often pull a rabbit out of a hat when we need it and the going is tough, he’s the same in all the finals we’ve played where he’s gone missing

We also need a manager who can get us playing with a high possession pressing attacking style.

We need so much mate, it’s going to be a long season again I’m afraid.

Both Kane and son are good players but whilst I would admit that Harry goes missing I big games I find son quite inconsistent, sometimes he can't even hold onto the ball and his shooting is wayward.

Exactly. Today’s result has nothing to do with depth and everything to do with Nuno not being brave with his selection. Playing a virtual 4 man midfield of players who are better off the ball than on it cost us.

Watching Andersen ping those passes to Zaha and look solid defensively, really frustrates me because he would have been a good fit for us. I know we prioritized Romero but Andersen transfer just made sense for us.

I knew we were going to lose, we've not been playing well. Also we never win when we are the first game on, also with the curse of death with the manager of the month.. Also with Johnathon Moss as th ref... We were on the back foot to start with... Lol
