It's easy to get lose in templates, on DLP, one Box to box, one DM etc. What matters really is team spirit and giving 100%, I don't care that Bergwijn missed that chance, he gave 100% and worked very hard defensively (also got assist). Hojbjerg, Skipp, Lucas, Son, Sanchez, Dier, Regi, Lloris, literally everyone gave everything they had. Dele was immense defensively too, against world class midfield. Not even upset anymore if Ndombele or anyone else doesn't show his talent, we have others who have desire and fight in them. Tanganga or Lucas MotM, Nuno amazing too.

That was a heroic performance! It was nothing like last year where we got off lucky, but here we were the better team today. Super encouraging for the upcoming season! Every single player did their part today. I gave Alli some flak at halftime, but the way he worked defensively in midfield for the whole game was very, very good. Moura easily MOTM.

The fcuking determination today. Have not seen that level in years. Lucas, Bergwijn, Alli, Sanchez, Dier all stepped up today. That's the fcuking manager doing his job.
