So much for holding firm. Disappointing if the base figure is below 150.
Not sure I understand this, you'd be happier with £150m and no add-ons over £130m and £40m of add-ons? (assuming add-ons are reasonable - which with Levy we know they will be).

Kane has played a very big part in our demise in recent years. As good as he is, our whole team is built around him, he plays regardless of fitness and was instrumental in Poch going and Jose coming/staying.

As much as I love(d) him as a Spurs player, I think he has got too big for his boots and doesn't suit the young, hungry new squad we are hopefully building.

And with his record in finals, I hope we don't include add ons that are based on him winning trophies!!!
I thought it was bad how people changed the past when Eriksen, Walker left…but this is next level. ‘Big part of our demise’….crikey! Bloke only got the most goals and assists in the league, shame no one could defend.

I'm actually quite excited that he's going. I was completely done with him from the moment he mouthed off to Neville while our European qualification hopes were still alive. Never once seen a player of any team I'm a fan of actively attempt to sabotage his own team's finish to a season before. I'm glad we won't have to deal with a full season of the spectre of his leaving the club hanging over every match, and instead will be able to well and truly close this chapter in the club's history and get on with what's next.

Where in my post did I say that? I don’t believe we should have been negotiating for anything less than 180 + add ons.

Let's hope Levy has a sell on % also.

It's ok fellas

Everything happens for a reason

Been hearing Nagelsmann has struggled pre-season with Bayern ( squad issues Flick highlighted before he left)

Perhaps with the Kane money we'll rebuild with a younger squad and the stage will be set for Julian to come in a year down the line to work his magic with some bright young things

Stay positive. Life goes on

We honestly shouldn’t be so happy to just see him go. Yes he’s acted like a spoilt brat but we are still selling a world class player to a domestic rival. It needs to be uncomfortable for the whole club and owners. This should hurt.

This must be how Mads Mikkelsen felt when Denmark lost to the beans on toast people.

Ok, so basically world record fee? For a 28 year old with somewhat dodgy ankles? Who goes missing in every cup final he's played in? During a global pandemic when some of the world's most prestigious clubs can't rub two pennies together?

Don't think that was ever realistic, not when Harry started playing silly buggers.

For the player you've been for the past several years and the immense moments you've given me as a Spurs fan - THANK YOU

For how you and your ***** of a brother have gone about this transfer, disrespecting your teammates, the club and it's fans - FUCK OFF

If he is registered in time to play vs us at weekend, wonder who will be first in with a heavy tackle to his ankles....

A few more bits coming in drips and drabs...

Kane being awkward since his return. Don't buy into his didn't want to hurt fans bs. All he wants is to go.

Nuno wants him out.

Fab wants the money asap.

We could miss out on targets if we delay too long.

City still not met the price, but are getting close.

Might not be completed by weekend but very likely agreed by all parties.
