Anyway I don’t hate Kane. He’s been a total ass but has also been a good servant for a very long time. If nobody bids for him and he comes round and apologises for being a tit and knuckle down and play well for us. I will have no problem seeing him in a Spurs shirt this season. We all make mistakes it’s how we rectify them is the most important thing.

Grealish was smart enough to get a clause in his contract. So he could chill, do the bleep test and wait. Not defending Kane's actions but Grealish knew it would happen, Kane has no such assurance.
Grealish was also smart enough to have a professional agent in his corner these last few years. Charlie Kane seems to me like a chancer whose 'talent' is having the extremely good luck to be the brother of the best English footballer in decades, and making a few bob in the process. A professional agent would have advised HK back in 2018 to sign a contract for 2 or 3 seasons at the most, and would also have dealings with the club in black and white, with the appropriate people's signatures, so that everything would be clear-cut, and nobody would have to fall back on a claim of a 'gentleman's agreement'.

We all know that PL footballers live in their own little universe. He probably thinks he can waltz back in, say it was all overblown or say nothing at all and once the season starts it will all be forgotten and everyone will be back onside because he's Saint Harry.

More importantly, we don't have a single striker to start the season. WTF are we playing at?

Crazy isn't it.

That people still ignore Son's existence, I mean.

… if Harry was to stay he’ll need to offload his brother (& dad) in order to “prove” he was poorly advised; come out and make an huge apology, then let his entourage take the majority of flak….

He isn't a striker, have you seen him play with his back to goal?

Amazing that people try to shoe horn players into other positions to make it look like we have less of an issue then we do.

We have no strikers. Son isn't a striker. Him playing upfront then further weakens us on the left or right.

If City have a bid that is accepted we thank Kane for his services and we move on quickly.

The searching questions however should firmly be directed to Levy and lack of ambition on the playing field these flashbacks happen far to often Modric Bale Campbell Berbatov Keane... the boyhood club thing is dead we back the players that want to play for the badge.

Yes, I do largely agree with you. I also think it's tragic that Kane's latest antics have basically destroyed many Spurs fans love of the guy as being 'one of our own' and all his achievements have been dampened in our hearts. You don't put those sorts of things back as if nothing had ever happened. FFS Harry, what have you done?

City can sign Messi for £1mil a week for 3 years and he will still cost cheaper than what we want them to pay for Kane's transfer fee alone.

I know who I will choose if I'm Pep. ;)

They would get a big return on Messi football shirts within he first week. Thats the difference.

Kane needs to realise that for all Messi and Ronaldo’s greatness, they have never won the Audi Cup! They are in Kane’s shadow, he’s not in theirs. Spurs can make all your dreams come true.

I think the thing that is most telling to me, is the fact that he has decided to take an extended break, regardless of whether he continues to play for us or play for another team. If he wants to "win" trophies, should you not think maybe I will do like every other player, come back and get myself fit ready for a season to win these trophies that he thinks he is deserved.

You don't get anywhere without hardwork and dedication, something which he seems to be forgetting about whilst jetting around the world.
