I think based on the Ally Gold article with the quotes he could give it another year but certainly needs reassurances on the ambition of the club which i suspect will need to be backed up by management appointment and investment in the squad.

Fair play to you but that is life isn't it at the time Carrick moved up a step from whu because they had been relegated I think.
Then it was our turn utd were winning everything and we didn't and still don't so natural progression.
As for Harry I think he looks a goner I can't see how any amount of bullshit soundbites from levy which is similar to his statement to the fans changes anything.
We had a period of opportunity over a few years and completely fucked it up he has seen the light I say good luck.

Yes mate, that's life. I put far less emotional energy into football now than I did back then, but seeing Kane leave to any club, never mind to a PL club might just about finish off the tiny bit of love I have left.

he's top 2 strikers in the world, in a regressing team. I don't believe he'd downed tools, but should be playing at the highest level, every season. Given us many years of hard work and as much as I'd hate losing such an incredible player, can't blame him.

I'm not questioning the service he has provided and what good a player he is. That goes without saying but there's a time and a place for this information to get out and this wasn't the time.

Let's face it our squad don't need much of an excuse to put in a shit performance in an important game.

Nice of Harry's brother to provide them with one.

Yep, exactly what I thought too when I read those quotes. Maybe I'm being naive but it felt like he wants to have a sit down and like you said get reassurances that we will push on hard for the next season. Good on him.

He's massively putting pressure on Levy with that interview. Parts of it will be dissected and picked apart to be used this way and that. I'm a lot more relaxed after watching it. Reading it is different to watching him actually say the words.

Im trying to see things objectively. He also said he isnt desperate to go and has another 8 years ahead of him on the flip side.

I have no doubt that he wants to win things and is so ambitious and this is not about money... but it is upto Levy to convince him to stay - and he needs to back that up. The pressure is now on Levy because if Kane submits a request - we know where Levy is at

The timing of all this on his and his brothers part is what I find most annoying. Wait a f*cking week and then start briefing the press - let this team that are already struggling get through two games that could get us into Europe before chucking another grenade at the club.
