Thats a bit harsh to say the least. In 5 years we finished 3rd 2nd and Champ League runners up. The team was on the cusp of good things.

No we weren't. We had a 2 season window where we were good, this idea we are anywhere near Liverpool, Chelsea, United, City, or even the scum is fantasy, no matter how you cut it. I think the sooner we realise that the better for us all.

Does someone forced him to stay? He signed it because he wanted and became best paid player in club and one of the best paid player in the league.

You are right on the first point, he wanted to stay, he would get more at at least 3 other PL clubs.

We aren't near City now but we definitely were for those two seasons. We had a realistic shot at the league, twice. How was that not on the cusp of great things?

Things very quickly went to shit but with a bit more and better investment we could have pushed on.

We won, fuck all, those seasons were an off as Liverpool, City etc were in turmoil. Even then we failed to a lesser resourced team? We did bottle it with the best first 11 in the league.

Hence why we were on the cusp of great things

Your ability to misconstrued and twist such simple a point is fantastic Donki, I'll give you that.

See its personal spin here, I will ask one thing, why was there NO reports of any club in for him in the last 6 years?

A very good question! I think part of that is likely to be Levy's reputation preceding him - clubs likely looked at the situation and decided they weren't willing to pay what they'd consider to be over the odds. I remember hearing a journo on a podcast (Rafa Honigstein, I think?) saying that in previous years Son hadn't been very happy at Spurs but nobody made an approach because they didn't want to deal with Levy and pay a fortune!

And looking at disasters like Madrid's purchase of Hazard, you can see why clubs might be more and more unwilling to make these 'mega' deals that incur such risk.

? I'm saying I'd rather him let the fans know that he wants to leave now as opposed to the summer after the EURO's.

At least the fans know what to expect.
What do you think's stopping him from doing that? And do you think he wants to leave? For me, think he does want to leave but he can't be as direct as someone like Berba, Modric and Bale re their stated desire in their prime as footballers. Harry ain't in his prime imo...

Right, but that's part of the cyclical nature of sport. They were in turmoil and we were at our peak, so we came very close to winning the league.

But City turned it around.

United and Chelsea were drastically underperforming not that long ago. Liverpool couldn't buy a win at the start of the year.

Now, we're in turmoil, along with Arsenal. We'll see whether either or both can turn it around.

He doesn't need to be direct, it could be leaked to Sky or a tabloid like it was 2 days ago.

You can be wrong it’s ok.. you got it wrong and the facts speak for themselves.

Ok mastermind, we have had a rough 20/30 years with us getting bent over most of those years, from 2016-2019 we done amazing considering we are not financially doped. Look at context of those 3 years and you expect the majority of the fan base to be grumpy as you. Give over.

If he wants to win trophies go to Madrid, Barca, psg or Bayern.

Going to a direct premier League rival and setting up against your 'own' team is a dick move.

Lets be honest, Enic will not invest in the Squad, Spurs will need to do that of own pocket, We just need to sell kane and get rid of 4-5 more and actually build a new backbone, it is the only way forward. Start with Grealish, insane player, been out for months and looked class over all our midfielders/attackers.
Didn’t we already try for Grealish and Levy pissed them of with low ball offers as usual.

Again you are taking your personal opinion as fact. Yes you may not have thought we were on the cusp of anything finishing 3rd, 2nd, 3rd but many of us did and maybe just maybe Kane did as well, hence he signed a new contract.
