Agree. It’s a shame because yes it would be horrible losing him but there COULD be some positives which came from it if we invested the money well, but if we spunked it up a wall on crap when we will be stuck in mid table for some time to come.

That is a humongous “IF we invest the money well” with our scouting track record of late!!!

Where would be realistically want to go :
•Man.City - almost guaranteed trophies and stays in England for PL scoring record and doesn’t have to move family to a new country. Ticks most boxes I’d say.
•Man.U - better chance of winning trophies and playing in CL but not guaranteed trophies like city pretty much would be.
•PSG - should be almost guaranteed trophies and work with Poch again but no PL scoring record and move family to Paris
•Real Madrid or Bayern - should be guaranteed trophies but no PL scoring record and move family to Munich or Madrid.

I’d say City would be his n.o1 choice if they want him and can afford him. Mabye PSG 2nd as double factor of Poch & Trophies.

City first choice I’d say. Man Utd second. personally don’t see him being set on a move abroad, particularly to PSG.

The only teams that will be able to afford him next summer (which is obviously the earliest Levy would countenance selling him) are City, United and PSG. Real's "Galactico" days are well beyond them financially, Bayern don't spend like that and Juventus and Barça are fucked.

Yea quite possibly.
My money would be on City or PSG as I think Man.U want Haaland.

So you believe Kane wants to win French league and play in a team where he will be the 3rd wheel? Yea he has a much better chance of winning CL but that won't be enough

Well if the era in question is that of a certain small fellow who's idea of a haircut is a quick wipe with a chamois leather then perhaps it isn't all as bad as we think.
I think we are getting towards the end now, yes, although I think you know I was referring to the Poche cycle.

Not particularly no which I why I listed it as a 3rd option behind man.U and man.city, but poch also manages PSG so that’s another pull. But I think his preference would be to stay in England in PL.

If he joins Man Utd I will genuinely stop taking interest in football. I have too many United mates that will never ever let me forget. Sadly I may even lose them as mates if he goes there

Wasn't there ITK at the time of Poch's sacking indicating that Kane wanted him gone? Something along the lines of senior players - hinted to be Kane - who had reached the end of the road with Poch and would leave if he stayed on. If it's true, would be surprised to see him end up there.

We always reach a point with a top player where they think “fuck this”. I think we’re there with Kane. It’s a shame ?

I don't want to lose Kane but no point in having one or two great players when we have a load of shite. I'd rather have a load of good players with one or two shit players.

The question I have is... Why would levy reject Kane leaving for say 120m when next year he would leave for less than that given he would have two years remaining... Unless we are going to invest this summer and go for it next season then there is absolutely no fucking point... Apart from the commercial side which even then... Kane leaving would be the elephant in the room commercially.

If and when he leaves it's imperative we have a coach in place who doesn't rely on big players to get us through games.

We will need a coach, like Nagelsmann, who can build a system that isn't heavily reliant on a CF but maximises everyone within the system. Much like Poch was when he first came.

If Levy thinks he can go out and simply replace, with a cheaper option or even remotely similar, he's wrong.

I can't see Kane going this summer, because of reasons mentioned previously, but perhaps next summer when the market is more open and Haaland has already chosen his club - meaning others need a CF.

But it would soften the blow if something at the club has already started and a system is in place.

Having said that, not getting my hopes up

Bielsa is the mythical mad dream that permeates the unconsciousness of Tottenham Hotspur FC. He’s both Creator and Destroyer, Order and Chaos. I can’t imagine a better suited club for him. It would be glorious and agonising with him at the helm and this place would become vintage overnight
My name is Bielsa, Manager of Managers.
Look on my Works, ye Mighty,
And laugh.

Wanted to go down the 'I am the alpha and omega' line route, but I thought a verse from Revelation may have been a tad too apocalyptic.

I think we're going to be in for a rude awakening when it comes to Kane this summer.

Haaland can only go to one club. Every other club who would be in for his signature will not want to be left behind.

Think one or two clubs will very much test our resolve.

I think a smart play would be to go all out for Dybala this summer and have him come in as an early Kane replacement. Perhaps you could argue the same about Danny Ings to a lesser extent.

Why would Dybala even come? Poch, his fellow countryman, was the big draw here. It's not like we're actually going places as a club....

I love Kane, just as I love(d) Bale, Berbatov, Modric, Walker. It was a kick in the teeth when they left but who could begrudge them winning lots of medals?

Kane has been loyal and a Spurs fan, and we all know its a rollercoaster of false dawns and misery.

I wouldn't begrudge him leaving at all. At least Lloris, Toby and even Jan had won medals domestic or at international stage.

People criticize Shearer but he won at least a league with Blackburn.

We either come into next season with a warchest or unfortunately let him go, as heartbreaking as it is

Unfortunately levy won't provide a war chest to sort out the issues he is partly responsible for.
Instead it will take several windows of recruitment to sort this laughing stock out something we can all look forward to.
