It's very simple, Mourinho's team selections have essentially cost this team top 4 this season. The number of minutes Winks, Doherty, Sissoko, Bergwijn, Lucas, Dier, and Sanchez have played when you have world class proven, experienced players like Bale and Alderweireld available says it all.

Can we just see a run of 5 or so games with the below team?

Lloris

Aurier Alderweireld Sanchez Reguilon

PEH Ndombele

Lamela

Bale Kane Son

Rodon has to start. Most dominating centre half we have and that is one of our major weaknesses

“claiming managerial victories!!!!”

You’re literally reading words which aren’t there, and then screeching at them.

I guess it’s a step up from leaning out your windows and barking at parked cars, so there’s that.

You screeched your way through the end of Poch and to this day still make up nonsense about how long we were poor under him, I think you'd inflated it to 18 months at the last count , so I'd guess you know about barking out of windows

Don’t give a fuck about Jose but I do about Kane. Worried this will just force him to look to move if this continues.

Pretty good performance, lots of positives.

The defence is just so bad and to blame for pretty much everything. Dier and Sanchez are just so, so bad.

How can Mourinho be absolved of responsibility for the loss? He willingly started Dier and Sanchez when Alderweireld was available. He chose not to start Bale who was picking up his play the last two games. He ridiculously chose to bring on Doherty whose performances have been amongst the worst in the squad consistently this season. Mourinho continually picks lesser talent players who haven't even been on good form this season, and we keep losing matches.

Mourinho's match selections, substitutions, and man management have cost this team no less than 10 points this season. Maybe even closer to 15.

How wasn't he? He selected Dier and Sanchez who handed West Ham the game? Our defence is shocking which is all on Jose. And please stop patronising.

Perhaps if you didn’t twist the words of people you disagree with, in order to vindicate your desire to sneer like a prick at them, then people wouldn’t respond to you like a sneering prick.

Just a thought.

There's a big difference from being fully behind Mourinho to seeing zero point in sacking him right now.

The bottom line is we have too many bang average players. You can go back to the two transfer windows when we didn’t buy anyone, it’s biting us on the arse now. Some of it falls on mourinho and some of it doesn’t. His insistence on picking players that consistently shit the bed is shocking but it’s not his fault that those players are still here. Levy has to accept that some players need shot of regardless of what clubs value them at...

Think I’m gonna need a few drinks before looking at the manager threads to see who the geniuses think will make our defenders competent today
He’s been in charge for 18 months and our defending is getting worse.

I admire you’re commitment to your position but as we plummet down the table and West Ham go nine points clear of us you’re on the thin edge of the wedge I reckon.

I'd rather play bale from the start and try and bag a decent goal lead.
We dont play that way under Jose though. We were 1 down after 5 mins and after 40mins still hadn't had a shot on target.
Bale starting wont change that.
Its not working under Jose in any aspect.
As someone said earlier this is one of our best attacking squads ever and yet we're going 40mins in a London derby behind and not javing a shot on target! Something is very wrong with that.

FFS! Same fucking story.
Beaten again because of the most mistake ridden, calamitous set of defenders I've ever seen in a Spurs shirt in the same squad. Must be woefully coached as well. They're like strangers on the pitch, with zero cohesion or communication. Not helped by Mourinho changing the back line every fucking game.
On the plus side, Bale looked somewhere near his true quality. Made a huge difference 2nd half.

I've already made my point 3 times now in this thread about picking Dier and Sanchez and it's completely justified.

Sorry if I patronised you but it's frustrating that people don't read arguments properly and twist your words.

Our defence has been shocking for quite a while and whilst I think that the manager is to blame the players are to blame as well.

But it can be two things, we need better players (in defence especially) but we also need a new manager.

We lost to David Moyes West Ham...nobody can tell me they have a better squad than we do. It's all on Jose.

This is as bad as Spurs have been for many a year. We weren't even this bad under Sherwood.

It still doesn’t make sense in the context, but fair enough, I know where you’re coming from ??
I don't want to knock you but:

Injustice if we get nothing from this = "It would be" (redundancy) injustice if we get nothing from this - a mixed conditional.

In the same way:

"It would be" (redundancy) consequence if we get nothing from this - the same type of mixed conditional.

I used the word consequence in an uncountable way.

Still I think both are true (y)

We don't have a center back in this team that is good enough right now that we won't have idiotic mistakes at the back. Not one.
