In fairness they will have to get into Chelsea’s box first which they’ve struggled to do so far

I've not watched many of Chelsea's games this season but I don't think I've seen Havertz do anything to suggest he's worth even half of what they paid for him.

I was just thinking the same. Both him and Werner have thankfully been very disappointing thus far. They’re both obviously finding that the PL is a much harder and different league to Germany.

He's very talented but he clearly needs time. Doesn't look confident yet and needs to adapt to the league and new teammates. Still scored and got a couple of assists though, so on paper he's not doing terribly. Style-wise he actually reminds me quite a lot of Alli who also struggles a bit when played as a 10/midfielder rather than as a borderline striker (the position I believe Havertz excelled in last season at Leverkusen).

I imagine every opposition fan has said the exact same about Ndombele over the past year, though, so we'd be foolish to write off Havertz.

Our attack is better, without doubt.
Yeah, I probably agree we’re better. Their lot seem to lack craft and invention compared to Kane, Son, Bale and Tanguy. Werner and Havertz just getting tactically subbed for Hudson-Odoi and Mount after failing to score suggests you’re right. But they have Ziyech coming in to provide the guile, and my worry is they will score enough goals, whilst we probably rely on Moura for months at a time, to make it a wash, irrespective of skill levels.

I’ve only been able to keep half an eye on this until now, and the conditions won’t have helped Utd or City, but from what I’ve seen neither team deserves to win this.

Of course this comment is certain to bring about a winner.

We'll probably only start one of Bale, Bergwijn, Lamela and Lucas most weeks, so those look like great options to me.

I actually feel really sorry for him. Has he started a single game for them yet?
Not in the league.

Ironic that Ole was bigging him up and saying how big a signing he was and versatile he is, yet he seemingly doesn't trust him in any position, even off the bench.

Very strange.

While his previous team run out a 13-0 away win with 45 shots he sits on the bench watching a bore draw while mason greenwood gets on ahead of him
