This caught me during dinner and then having to install a new router. Sorry it's late.
Bem-vinda Carlos!
Handy having a Portuguese manager as I don't suppose he speaks English.

Lucas and Gedson are absolutely buzzing. The dressing room no doubt is gonna be a very tightly knit group.
(p.s apologies if the previous image was too big. Inserted a thumbnail here instead.)

Fair one. Argentinians speak Spanish though?
PoshMost of my Argentinian friends speak Portuguese as well as Spanish.
Spanish and Portuguese are so similar that if you know one you can normally understand the other, unless the person's speaking very quickly etc.

Similar to Welsh and Klingon
Probably like English and Geordie English I'd imagine. We're saying the same words but I'll be fucked if I could understand what they're talking about.I was listening to South American football expert Tim Vickery (who is based in Brazil) on TalkShite’s Hawksbee and Jacobs program.
He said that many Brazilian Portuguese sounds different to native Portuguese and Brazilians can struggle to understand Portuguese people as they speak faster.
