Ally is the unofficial club mouthpiece isn’t he, if he’s rolling this out, is it likely it’s very close?

He is both physical, but also mobile. So has one up on Janssen and Llorente.

Very promising if it's coming from Ally. Jose connections potentially paying off if so. Loan with option has a lot of upside. Certainly eases the concerns over him being a one season wonder or someone that can only do it in a lesser league.

He'd reported this morning that a striker was close but delicate, and didn't identify who the target was specifically. Now that the story has broken elsewhere he's come out with that tweet. Seems reasonably safe to say that Vinicius was the striker in question from the previous article.

JJ and Trix bang on again it has to be said.

Im watching him on youtube and he is good, i mean better than me so thats a positive.

I mean Joelinton is also another that looked ok too on youtube hmmm

Looks like he presses really well from the front and is really strong on the ball and bringing other players in to the attack. I honestly don't know much about him, and watching a 10 minute highlights video won't tell the whole story, but he looks like he plays a lot like.... WOUT WEGHORST!

If he is Mourinho's main target for a striker, then have to back him and get him in. Really think a loan is ideal. Gives us a chance to have a real good look at him. Can see why we'd be reluctant to cough up £35m odd in the current climate for a striker whose only really had one prolific goal scoring season at a higher standard of football.

Not sure if I made up seeing this in here or not, but if it a loan with an option doesn’t that negate the need for a work permit?
