Milan have arguably best LB in the world, surprised they want Aurier. But they have some good target men and it's a slower league so maybe he can succeed there. It's also more tactical which won't help him. Massive respect for Aurier in any case, love him and his positivity but we need someone better defensively.
Milan aren't very good. Aurier would improve them.

Whose the best left back in the world? Theo Hernandes? A bit early to tell!

They need a right back. Right now their options are Andrea Conte, who I'm a big fan off but hasn't really pushed on and is now 26, and similar to Aurier isn't exactly that good defensively, and Calabria who isnt terrible but not inspiring either. neither of these players are really pushing for international recognition and it's not like Italy have a lot of depth in those positions (Florenzi is a fine right back when fit, but after that there isn't much competition).

Aurier would clearly improve them. Milan would struggle to make the top 10 in the PL. There is a reason Milan were considering a move for Jeff Hendrick. They are not that good, Europa League hopeful team and a long way behind the top 4.

They have a good reputation, but Milan haven't been good in years, and have distinctly average team. There are positive shoots though, they hit very good form at the end of last season, have a great goalkeeper, theo Hernandes and erm.... Decent Wingers?

Aurier would be a great signing for them, and likely to be less exposed in a league that is less full throttled but instead has a more, shall we say considered, approach to football.

Zero chance we get that for him. There’s a reason we struggle so much to shift deadwood, Levy is unreasonable a lot of the time and I’m not even anti-Levy it’s just true.

Hopefully it’s just part of the bargaining dance though and we accept 18 ish

£15m tops in this climate.

Is this the climate where manure are discussing paying 120 mill for a youngster
And citeh are paying 40 mill for ake ?
Nothing is changed money wise and teams like them and chavs will make sure of it.
But our good old Daniel will still cling on to but but ...but .. covid 19 and get bugger all for it.

We should be asking for that, while accepting we might get less. It might seem unreasonable, but we would need to replace him. 15 mill is the minimum to get someone else in of a similar level. We have no reason to sell.

Aurier isn't deadwood, and will have a place here next year were he to stay. I don't even particularly rate him, but unless we get two right backs in we shouldn't sell. So we need money that would help us replace him + a little more.

Given that he has entered the last 2 years of his contract, and I can't see us wanting to extend his stay, it would surprise me to see him here after the window closes.

I personally don’t think that’s unreasonable.

If anything I think it’s on the low side. He’s contributed a lot of assists this season and we should be able to sell him on that positive. Im not saying he’s in his class at all, but where Leicester are wanting a world record fee for Chilwell (+£80m) Then Aurier has to be worth at least £20m, if not £30m.

I actually like Aurier, even though we obviously need a better RB. I just think that he gets way too much criticism (Davies too). That said, if we can get 20m+ for him, then we should go for it and put that towards a new RB. Not Aarons though, way too expensive for what he is (not that I blame Norwich for demanding a high fee) and doesn’t he support Chelsea? Call me old fashioned, but I’m not a fan of that.

So...here goes.

All of these RBs I see Spurs linked to and many debating their pros and cons.It appears many aren't down with Aurier, and personally, I feel some are purely looking at his negatives as opposed to his positive input also.

Whilst I appreciate stats don't paint the true picture, SSN has Aurier as second in the table for tackles made this season. Other sites have him placed in the top 5. These include Midfielders also.

He's provided 5 Premier league assists, along with a couple in the Champions league.

Add to this, I can recall a couple of occasions where he's got across to cover and get a last ditch tackle or block in to prevent what looked like a certain goal.

So, yes I can concede that there have been brain farts, costly errors, crap crosses. But I don't think he's as useless as some give the impression he is.

Of course, if an upgrade becomes available, or younger potential with maybe a considered higher ceiling, then great, let's have a go.

But I for one can actually see this past season that Aurier has performed rather well and provided some key moments in games.

I feel like keeping Aurier would be beneficial for the sake of having depth at RB if we were to bring someone else in, but I can't help but feel a little happy to see him potentially out of the door still as he is a weak link in our back line still and is very error prone.
As mentioned by another member. 2 years left on contract. We're not going to offer another 4-5 year deal so it's time to sell.
