His surname is Kim, try that instead. Cheaper for a start

Thats like when my dad tried to persuade me to get 7 and Fox on my shirt rather than Sheringham 10! (who then fooking left season after).

Of course now we can also get Son 7! Although i have an idea clubs have changed it now so costs more depending on calibre of player rather than amount of letters? I could be making that up?

If he was to come in as an immediate starter and we were putting all our hope on him then yeah it would be.

But we have Toby, Dier and Sanchez as established picks and Tanganga developing.

So he's coming into an environment where he won't be under massive pressure to perform immediately.

I don't see it as a massive gamble.

A gamble may be spending 40m on some one like Upemecano as you'd expect a signing like that to be better than what you have and he'd need to justify it, and there's always a risk he'd struggle in a better league. Whereas Min Jae would be low key.

Whereas Saliba, who may be very good, is probably already thought of by their fans as the saviour of their defence aged 20.

You’re not wrong. One of my flat mates is an Arsenal fan and whenever I mention how bad their defence is the answer is always “well we’ve got Saliba coming in next season”. Big ask for a 20 year old to plug all those gaps.

He was Palace wasn’t he?

And didn’t they have a second Chinese player at that time?
You do know that although he plays in a league in China, Kim Min-Jae is South Korean, right?

Who was that Chinese player that we had on loan, I guess in the early 2000s?

At the end of the day in this current market I would be more than happy to take a flier on Kim Min-Jae and have four CBs of Dier and KMJ on the left, Sanchez and Toby on the right side. Tanganga plugs a hole at RB tucked in for the season and hopefully we can sign another RB as it seems KWP and possibly Serge could be moved on.

Europa can be a great place to blood Sess, KMJ & even Tanganga.

Very well remembered! I just remember him coming on when we played Palace in a testimonial for Dean Austin and that was it.
To be fair, I just googled Chinese Spurs players. It was fairly easy from that point on.

I did the same and didn’t find anything! Obviously search engines are wasted on me.
