Before kickoff West Ham in the Championship next season was more likely than us catching Chelsea was.Who the fuck cares about mid table at best West Ham? Anything that helps stop Chelsea get anywhere is much more important
Have Chelsea overtaken us as WHAM's cup final? We didn't lay a glove on Chelsea this season yet West ham take 6 points off them, what the actual fuck.
well almost is a massive overstatement, there was a scramble in the box in the end but that's hardly 'almost'. We were coasting all game and conceded two late goal, one was last minute. But we were dominant. We won 3-2 and it almost finished 3 all.
They do the double over Chelsea this season.
YesBut West Ham in the Championship with that wage bill and that stadium would be glorious.
That's what has always confused me. Attacking wise, they do need to refresh, but they are up there with the best in the league. Genuinely a great attacking team. But, we will put it this way, they have conceded more goals than we have, and we've been awful defensively, like, really bad!All well and good buying Werner and Ziyech, but Chelsea are going to need an entire back-line between now and next season.
West Ham fully deserved it. I also think it does put our comfortable win in perspective. West Ham can be dangerous if you let them. No such thing as an easy game for most teams in the division.
Like do the VAR people have no concept of how height works. As was mentioned, if anything Antonio is making it easier for Kepa, if he wasn't there it would be a simple finish that Darren Bent could have scored!

Only if we make it count tomorrow.Best result for us.
