No denying United's movement has improved too. Although Brighton are hardly staying compact and have been slow across the pitch.

United's weakness will always be the counter attack. Maguire is too slow on the turn and can get caught out.

Yeah, there's none of the snap or organisation from Brighton that they've had at times this season. All be it they've been incredibly inconsistent all season too.

I said it then and I’ll say it again. We really fucked up drawing against them. Beating them would have dented their confidence. Now they think they are indestructible.

United are on a different level to us with a rookie manager. Shocking to see. Failing to get 5th when we were only a couple of points behind when Poch left should raise serious questions.
You're glossing over the fact that we weren't just a few points off 5th but in alarmingly bad form. Combine that with a squad who were tired with key players picking up injuries it was always going to be an uphill struggle.

In comparison United have spent near on 200m, Ole has been allowed to shed the squad of its bloated weight and has had 18 months working on the structure and system. Then he's allowed to bring in Bruno.

That's a major disadvantage to Jose
He needs more than a few months to reenergise and repair this team.

You could also say that a draw against them was a decent result given the form they've shown since. And you could even go so far as to say it again if you were so inclined.

Haven't seen a team setup as poorly all season as Brighton have here. What is Connolly suppose to do? Why is Maupay on the bench. Absolutely awful.

Yeah I was going to say their movement is so much better. How do they all of a sudden look miles above us in that department.

The thing that you can tell is that the forward players get the ball and they all want to play, they all want to do something and they're supporting each other in doing so. Plus they're making better use of the ball. I'm sorry but when we have players like Lucas and Dele playing the way he is, the quality isn't high enough IMO.

Well kind of - we had an equally close offside goal ruled out.

But was offside though although I take your point. We also had sheff utds goal ruled out and it was offside technically.

I'm not saying two wrongs make a right or whatever..

Or maybe they're just pretty good now and we did okay to get a draw first game back when we'd been so disjointed pre-lockdown?!

World class midfield + pacy, agile front 3 that can score. Good attacking fullbacks. Not really rocket science honestly.

Apparently Leicester’s board had been planning signings on the assumption they’d get Champions League football... Looks like they’re fucked with Wolves and United breathing down their necks

Utd have a far superior team to Brighton. But that wasn't even competing. Fucking awful first half from Brighton

We should try to find out who they were planning to sign and sign them ourselves lol. Leicester usually buy good players.
