After watching a shambolic Spurs and now Liverpool youth/reserves out class Everton's 1st team, I'm really at a loss as to what Spurs are going to do going forward, I see no hope whatsoever for us in the near(or distant) future!!!
It’s pretty fucking depressing

I see our youth the other week. I reckon them Liverpool lads would rack up 15 goals against our lot.

We had all of that a few seasons ago, apparently!!

I think we did as well, everyone was waxing lyrical and rightly so - we were just great, energetic and enthusiastic.

Then we didnt invest. Then shit got shitter. Anyways, I guess the status quo has been restored for now.

We would get beaten by that team i think. Todays team would have been beaten

Nah. Our team today would have battered that Liverpool side. Had Everton scored in the first few chances they had, like they should have, they’d have coasted to victory. Villa tonked this same lot only a few weeks ago.

Everton have a serious mental problem against Liverpool. Shame because of the two clubs Everton are a hundred thousand times more likeable.

But we did not have youth of Liverpool's quality, no where near!

Didn't you watch the first half?
Liverpool should've been 3/4 nil down at half time...they were extremely fortunate Everton couldn't finish for shit.

Ok you may be right although we have one or two now in Parrott, Skipp, Tanganga etc - just that theyre not playing ... I mean games like today are perfect for that but I guess Jose is desperate to get a flow and consistency going.

But they weren't, were they! You could say that about many of our wins or draws! We could've been 2 down at half time today!!
You said they outclassed Everton, they didn't...they were extremely fortunate.
Villa stuck a truckload past this 'amazing' team a couple of weeks back, or have you forgotten that?

They were fortunate not to concede one or two in the first half, but that's football, in the 2nd half Everton weren't in it! Get real mate, we've been shit 1st half and won the game in the 2nd loads of times in the past couple of years without outclassing the opposition.

Moyes really has achieved a boost to his profile and reputation based on beating Bournemouth hasn’t he?

BT are so over the top and dramatic. Can be excused for thinking they’re “back in” the Champions League race...

Come on you Gills. Ogilvie to do the business
