Sounded pissed off and frustrated in his post match interviews.
Anyone who knows me knows I love kane and fight his corner to any non spurs fan to death. But amongst us I can be honest and say he just isnt the kane of 2 years ago. We can all reel off goal stats but we cant fool the eyes. Deep down I think we all know something is missing and I think this will change from now on
He will still have thr great touch and produce great passes which he doesnt get credit for but he just isnt the same. We can 6 in 4 etc until the cows come home but it wont mask his performances
Yeah I totally agree. Hence why I said I hope it isn’t because he’s worried about burning out.
Seems to have followed the same pattern as with his England role. Dropping deep to feed quicker runners beyond him. Thing is, it made sense for England in a way due a complete lack to creativity available in midfield, but we shouldn’t have that excuse at Spurs.
Fact is he’s both our best passer of the ball and the best finisher. Shame he can’t pass to himself
doesn't press with any intensity, never runs the channels anymore which used to cause him so much joy. Something isn't right with him, yes he can still pass and shoot but even last night his use of the ball was poor. With his current role hes going to get nowhere near winning the golden boot, seems to be most places but in front of goal over the last year or so.Anyone who knows me knows I love kane and fight his corner to any non spurs fan to death. As much as I rate Kane if the likes of Ferdinand with his " if I were Kane I would want out " makes Harry want to leave then I am cool with that as we will get enough money for him to buy an adequate replacement plus one other player as most people will say Kane is in the bracket of 100 million pound players. Of course ideally Harry will stay put for many years to come.
The problem is he's been like this for a while now. He got rushed back from injury too quick. He's not at his best at the moment, but he's pretty much always been slow to get into top gear every season since he broke through. He's a rhythm player, he needs to feel totally sharp and in tune to be at his most dangerous.
Last season was totally impossible to judge with the post-World Cup grind and the injuries. We'll see what he's like by November and then can make some judgements. The problem is he's been like this for a while now. He got rushed back from injury too quick.
Lamela did something similar as well.Defo not at his best but could easily have had a tap in if Dele had squared to him. He did peel off a few times but didn't receive the ball. It doesn't help when your team mates have tunnel vision.
