There's very little quality journalism about football, essentially because football, though thrilling and absorbing itself, is usually a fairly banal subject when expressed in words.
And given that most journalists don't have access to the type of information we'd like to read about, eg. what Danial Levy is thinking and how much he's prepared to spend on an attacking midfielder, I can't see the point in doling out more cash just to read some geezer writing the sort of half-informed (I'm being generous here) thing I can read elsewhere on the net for free.
