Eriksen could have his best years with us ahead of him if decides to stay. We have the players who can play deeper than him now, and he would flourish with the likes of Ndombele and Lo Celso alongside.

That is a dirtyyyyyy filthyyyy team, the likes we will never have seen before. Fingers crossed we can start getting this team out of multiple games. This would have no issues breaking down fucking bus Parker’s.

Indeed it looks exciting...that said there's goals at both ends with that line up.

Great team, not sure if I agree 100% but it’ll change every week anyway. But with that team, our bench could be:

Gazzaniga, Lamela, Lucas, Winks, Sissoko, Rose, Sanchez.

And even that’s leaving out Dier, Aurier, Davies, Skipp, Wanyama and Foyth.

?

Is he still here?
Best news since the Arsenal draw.
11 million for 6 years solid service
bargain of the century.
If we give him away next summer
we've more than had our money's worth.
In the top three on goals and assists
since arrival.

Be amazing if he signs a new contract even if it includes a release clause. Should real come back.

Noticed that Werner signed a new 4 year contract with Leipzig with €30 million buyout clause. As he was out of contract next summer. Maybe we should offer Eriksen something similar.

That is not the right way of looking at it. What we bought him for is irrelevant.

If we had paid 50m to loan a player for a year people would say we were crazy - basically what we are doing.

I can only pray he signs a new contract. Losing him for nothing would be a disaster for us.

We're gonna have to accept it will happen besides he's still on his £75k p/w contract I'm sure has he signed up last year he would have been on Kane's or Alli's wages, suppose we have saved a bit of cash there.

For those who enjoy what he does on the pitch, I reckon this is his last hurrah.

I can see him signing a new deal before Christmas. We'd likely issue a standard Levy promise that if a big club comes in for him (Real Madrid or Barca) we'd allow him to leave. Wouldn't be surprised if such a clause is actually added to his contract, in the form of a release clause.

The only scenario in which he leaves on a free is if he's completely made up his mind that he wants to leave Spurs. But I don't think he has. He wanted the big move to Real or Barca, but I honestly don't think he's "exciting" enough to catch their concrete interest. A player they'd consider, but wouldn't take. Rightly or wrongly, up for debate IMO. He's a great player and arguably our most important player. When he's missing or not playing well, we don't look like Tottenham. But I still don't think he's quite reached the levels where Real or Barca go out of their way to get before other targets, especially with the new Financial restraints on clubs which allow for only a few "marquee" signings per year. Obviously being a free agent would offset that argument, however as mentioned above I think the sparkly, shiny new double-your-wages-son contract will be signed.

At his age, it's also doubtful they'd be interested next summer IMO. That's why I can see him signing a new massive contract with us. Remember De Gea being desperate to leave? Something similar.

I always expect each sentence to rhyme with the last one. Disappointed.

For me KWP is not up to the standard we require and really is championship level.
I just hope Foyth proves up to the standard needed.
Whilst his credentials at right back for a club of our stature are up for debate, I think "Championship level" is really harsh. He's actually done ok in the games he's played so far this season. That doesn't mean I think he's the answer (like I said it's still up for debate), but I certainly think he's shown enough quality and potential to play in the Premier League!
