Had to check, he is playing in a friendly tonight and scores. Surely wouldnt be playing if a big transfer is on the cards with less than 24 hr deadlinr looming ?

To be fair I don't think we're in him not playing territory. If we are speaking to his representatives still and also the image rights company we'd need to sort that before it's close enough for him to not play.

But equally it still hasn’t been ruled out like others have. All seems ongoing. All the media comments are ‘in discussions but looking difficult’, the key here is we are still in discussions.

Lo Celso looking beyond close now.
Leaves tomorrow to iron out these Dybala issues. If he sees we’ve just signed another international teammate, surely that’s going to look even more positive for him.
I think this can be done, just got to be some flex from all parties. And for that, I think they do all want it to happen.

It's just an informal training match against Novara Calcio in Serie C at Juve's training center. Wouldn't read far into him playing in it.
Romeo Agresti (number 1 source for Juve) has said basically the same things as Romano, but also added that Juve are pushing Dybala to reach an agreement or he'll have to move elsewhere in Europe. Again, he's not flat out said it's not happening either.

Can't help but feel the "still trying to find agreement with Dybala's agents" will be peddled out until we've sorted our other deals, before it finally comes out that it was never really on the cards.
Looks like it could have worked to help persuade Betis re Lo Celso already.
